Long story short I had Colorado st. -4 on a couple parlays that would have paid somewhere around 8,000$
Couple NBA Minn Cal bkr Marq Zona
I can't help but notice most of the board was on Colorado St. But earlier this morning I noticed a bunch of those bullshit advertisements for fixed games. Saying the fix was in on this one.... Makes me wonder how you lose a 8 point lead in 26 seconds....

That same kind of garbage happens five minutes into the 1st half, because it's still people playing these games and last time I checked people make mistakes. But it's only when it happens in the last 4 seconds that makes it fixed. I mean let's all be smart here. If the game was fixed, do you really believe they would wait until the buzzer and hope that a guy makes a long 3 pointer? So if it was "fixed" garbage, they sure put a ton of confidence in that kid to make that shot. I wonder what would've been the outcome for him if he misses. In the very few games that are fixed, they're not going to leave it up to one 3 pointer at the end to decide. They will have 22 turnovers, 15 missed FTs, and be garbage throughout without over doing it.

Trust me I know it stings, but just think about what I say. I mean they were down 4 when they throw up the 3. If they just wanted to make sure to cover, wouldn't they have just thrown an alley opp dunk to be sure. But I know it sucks, trust me I've seen so many of these, it's sickening.

I without a doubt think this was fixed. As I think many other games are too.
Like serious, look how many times meaningless late timeouts when teams are up a ton and then weird weird random garbage happens. I rarely see a team call a timeout up 26 with 20 seconds left to play to dribble the clock out. And it really seems ironic that this tends to happen towards the team who is less bet on numbers wise. I've thought it many a times, I've seen (just like all you guys probably have to) many backdoors, weird BS occur.
Another example if one cares is Hampton Illinois the other night (spread -21.5). Just look at the play by play. Tonight was another example. LSU old Dominion the other night as well. It's way to fishy for a fix to be ignored.
Not complaining cause I have been on both sides too. Take the good with the bad. But come on if you think this stuff happens, the way it happens, is just human error you got another thing coming.
These specific type of backdoor covers aren't random.

I would agree on some, but not on a game ending the way CSU/Denver did tonight.
I mean think about it. You're the leader of some group that's putting in the fix. So you go to a team, and talk to a few players, coaches, or whomever. If the line is between 3-5, and you need the underdog to cover that spread. Do you really risk $1000s or $1,000,000s on a guy hitting a 3 at the buzzer for you to either win or lose all that money? I mean even Steph Curry makes less than half of those. So in your scenario, does the kid who took the shot, know about the fix? Or do you just put 1000s on a "fixed game" hoping some kid who knows nothing hit a 3 at the buzzer to cover. And if he does know, don't you think that would put just a little bit more pressure on him. Or maybe enough, so that he may not even hit the rim.
"Hey kid, no pressure here, but I need you to make a 3 in final 1.2 seconds. Don't worry, I know you can do it. And if not, you're losing my boss a ton of money. But don't worry, someone willing to go to the extent of fixing a game, is not dangerous at all"

My point exactly!! Last night with 25 ticks on the clock, Virginia up 21 & takes a timeout. For what reason? Inbound the ball wait for the foul or run the clock!!! I have been watching this garbage for too long to even think otherwise.

LMAO you guys are right. I am going to bet 1 million $ on a game, and pay a couple kids $1000s more to fix it. And I bet all that money that one kid can hit a 3 on a catch and shot at the buzzer.

Doesn't have to be fixed by the refs or some 3rd party, it could be the coach, the players themselves. Greed is everywhere.
I agree totally. But what I'm saying is that those games look a lot more "weird" than putting all the faith on one 3 going in at the buzzer...think about it.

I don't know about fixed but is annoying when u are on team that is covering and they keep fouling with 10 seconds left down 12 and then u are on team like duke last night and UConn doesn't foul with 35 seconds left down 10.

EXACTLY, and those are the kind of things that looked fixed to me. Especially when there's a team that hasn't fouled, down by 8 or more last minute, the whole year. And then, all of a sudden, they foul down 11 with 40 seconds...or vice versa.

I don't get it? Why you have to bet 1 million? However, I would say that on some of these games "millions" are bet. So ya, there is some truth to your stupid comment. I just don't turn a blind eye to the fact that things can easily be rigged/setup. Anyways, maybe Arizona UTEP didn't make it SOOO obvious. Next.........

Just something to think about. In all sports we love Parity, the televised games looking for ratings. This happens especially in professional sports, it keeps the fans watching to the end. In all reality, if there was not a line on the game, once one team went up double digits most would turn it off. Blue Chips Baby$$$$

Sorry Pal... I think there is more Fixed than you think.. You must realize that very few colleges make money from their athletic program. Matter of fact , the football mainly carries the athletic programs for the universities. I'm talking all athletics are carried by football & basketball programs. Of the 115 universities only the top 10 profit, the rest are lucky to break even, most lose money after scholarships & travel. Where do you think they get the Funds?

I still think that athletes like to compete & anyone who does cheat deserves adequate repercussion. The repercussion should be worse than it is now. I wasnt arguing over the fact that athletic programs dont make enough money & I really dont care bro, these schools are rich, they dont have to make money off their athletic programs. I'm sure youve seen tuition @ these schools, its not like they dont have the money, so I dont wanna here those excuses pal.
