Wow, some of you guys are clueless.

The line went up, so if there was big money fixing the game, they lost because the wrong team covered. 

Not saying there aren't dirty games, they definitely exist. But there has to be some kind of money trail. The dollars here were on CSU, and there was no unusual betting pattern.

Also, if the fix is in to shave points, then CSU isn't ever going to be up nine with 30 seconds left.

Use your brain, ok?

I had to register just to respond to the stupidity of this statement.  Did you even go to college?  Probably not since you're from one of the dumbest states in America.  Do you really think Universities get their money from small time bookies and mobs paying them off?  The average tuition for a private university is probably around 30-40 grand.  Average payoff is a couple grand if you can make it happen.  Do the math.  You can pay off players you can't buy a multi-million dollar program.  How many documented cases of fixed games can you find versus the number of games played.  Bad beats happen all the time it's just he way the ball bounces.  I lost too it's called gambling.

No way the game was fixed, not the way it played out. If it was (in theory) fixed, the fix would have to be on the CSU side, not the DU side. CSU is the team that blundered away the cover. A fix normally requires deliberately screwing up, not making great plays (like forcing a turnover and converting a 3 with under 2 seconds left like DU did). Every time CSU got fouled at the end, they made their free throws. One of the easiest things to do to shave points is deliberately miss free throws and CSU didn't do that. One head-scratcher they did do was foul DU at the end, when they were up by 6 with less than 10 seconds remaining, instead of just playing defense, but I think it was just poor headwork on the CSU player.

For someone to attack another's education, shows lack of character.  First off I did not even place money on this game, but for one minute if you don't realize that gambling is a world wide business is just naive. Fixed games is not a conspiracy, it's Reality & if you don't see it, then your lost!  You're not the Solution, mostly the problem.

I have never say FIX before but I have to say I watched that game and Colorado St would miss their free throws then foul and stop the clock like they were losing.THE FIX WAS IN,and that's a first for me,and I go back to the 60's.

Finally, someone with some knowledge of the game.  Virginia did the same thing in their game, Fouling & even called a time out with 35 seconds left on the clock.  When your up 21 points either you are dribbling out the clock or shooting free throws because the losing team  has committed a foul.  In that stage of the game athletes are ready to hhit the shower.  I just love reading the comments from the people who think these things could never happen.  I have watched & Played enough sports in my lifetime to spot & pick up on funny situations. Sometimes the announcers will even call them out.  Its Gambling!!!
