This isn't your Cornell team from 2008-2010 when they were the class of the Ivy league. Things have taken a step (or three) back for the Big Red since then, but lucky for them they'll be at home tonight facing a Yale team that I don't think much of at all. Cornell likes to get up and down playing at the 34th fastest pace in the nation and I'm one who believes it's easier to control and dictate pace when playing at home. A nice edge here for Cornell. By now i'm sure many of you are thinking, how on earth is Cornell a better team? Yale is 15-5, compared with Cornell's 8-12. Yale is 5-1 in conference, compared with Cornell's 3-3. The difference... strength of schedule where Cornell ranks 100th in the nation and Yale comes in at 275. Yale has beefed up that record playing the sisters of the poor and I for one am not fooled. Even that 5-1 conference record is bolstered by the fact they've only played one ivy league road game to this point. Looking for a reality check for Yale here. They aren't that good and tonight it'll be shown.
Ill take yale's big man who is also a potential NBA player against a freshman of Cornell any day. I am not sure you have seen either team play. If not, go to YouTube and look at the teams. There is no way Cornell is a BETTER team. They may win but they aren't a better team. As far as SOS,throw that out the door when your playing conference games. Especially when Yale has one of the better coaches in the league. BE SMART PEOPLE, TAKE YALE.
