gl im on tennessee too i thikn miss st wears down like baylor did yesterday
It's good to have talks about games I like this forum for it so before I get into anything these are just my thoughts, don't take them personal. (Yesterday I did something similar in WOWs thread and he took it wrong)
Baylor didn't wear down one bit, it is just what happens to a team that lives and dies by the 3. Shot great the first 3 days vs. Nebraska, Kansas, Texas. Then they faced a team that can guard the perimeter and thus shot 6 of 24 from 3 land. That not only hurts them on offense but compounds the long misses into easy buckets for any team let alone a team like Missouri who likes to get out in transition.
As for this game today Miss. St. vs Tennessee. I see A LOT and i mean A LOT of love for Tennessee. Yea, they have played well the last 2-3 games since the Alabama loss, but come on honestly. This team is not what they were last year and its for one simple reason. They struggle in the half court. Look what Miss. St did yesterday? They went to a 2-3 zone and forced LSU to shoot long jumpers and you are not going to score easily inside on Vernardo. The only reason Tennessee has looked so impressive is because they are hitting the deep ball. Trust me this is a fluke and in my opinion will hurt them today. They fall in love it when it goes well. I'm a guy who looks at the course of things over a good period of time. Anybody can win a poker 1-day poker tournament, but what have you done for the entire year? That is Tennesee to me. They shot 31% during the entire season so do not be fooled about 47% yesterday. I will promise you they don't hit 45% today. Mississippi State played well in Tennessee and even at home couldnt cover this number of 5.5 that is being given out today in a Neutral court Biggest Game Of THe Year for Miss. St.
Miss. St. is a well coach team even though Stansberry is the biggest fuckin prick ever, he gets his team ready. They will show up today. I will promise you that, this is their only hope to get into the tournament.
One thing that stands out to me, and Coach Pearl has said this about his team in many articles this year is that they are not mentally tough. They get down on themselves and get discouraged. To me that is the sounds of a team that has some serious mental issues. So lets say this game is close down the stretch and you have a team who knows its already in, and another fighting and clawing for the last chicken leg on the dinner table. I'm going with the team that needs to eat today. Will wait this one out because I see so much love I will get a 6 come game time.

Isn't there a correlation between not making threes and being tired? Teams get to this game with the 3 and then in the second half they start hitting the front rim on threes.
