I DVRd the game and just finished watching it...great game! However, I don't know if anyone noticed, but I think TNT screwed up here on the coverage after the game ended:
- There was no coverage of Villanova players or their fans. It was just UNC players crying...alumni crying...students crying...then they started talking about the accomplishments of the Seniors, etc.
- THEY PLAYED UNC HIGHLIGHTS DURING ONE SHINING MOMENT! WTF!
- The broadcasters kept talking about the UNC "loss" vs. Villanova's "win"
- Even the confetti that came down on the players while they accepted the trophy was "carolina blue"
- Both announcers were in complete silence after the game winning shot...like they were stunned...was waiting for some iconic phrase w/ some enthusiasm like "do you believe in miracles!"
- They even put Brendan Heywood as an analyst (UNC alum)
Not a fan of either team...and definitely enjoyed the game...but I think the coverage for postgame could have been much better...where is Jim Nance when you need him?
