Get ready to not remember what the Final 4 is like!!!!
But you got that ACC tourney locked down again. Beating no seed higher than a 7.
Losing on the road is one thing
5-5 is just flat out average.
And don't even try to put me just in the hater category. I wrote an essay and made my biggest bet of the yr and gave the EXACT WAY Nova would beat the crap out of them LY.
Most know that except for kids who came in this yr once their Pukies had a better shot. You got the weakest 2 Seed, you aren't better than Cuse, and WVU and OSU deserved it more.
But enjoy this Great Seed, and your Conf title. Only things you can win lately.
And ur point is what? Villanova was the BETTER team last year. Duke cant win it all every year. There are 350 teams that would love to be as bad as Duke the last 5 years.

Now in that gtown loss they were very sloppy with the turnovers and would have probably lost anyways with arinze. In fact he got hurt after they fell behind and were playing bad
true but Jackson played bad. yeah they did have alot of turnovers and it didnt help that Wright had a career night 27pts. Seems to always happen vs cuse. someone has a career night lol like that kid Kuric from Lville averages 5 a game and gets 22 in the 2nd half. wtf

just going to chime in re: duke, unc etc.. I never hated unc, until goober roy showed up there. man I cannot stand to hear him speak, he sounds slow and retarded duke wins with good bball and its hard not to hate them i think most people hate them because vitale has made it his goal in life to praise them exclusively. but I hate Kansas, mostly because I was at the 1996 Reg Final in Denver when Cuse beat them to go to the Final 4. Their fans were all assholes. Man was that '03 championship sweet .
Its amazing how short peoples memory are. Dickie V sucked off Dean Smith for years. Duke was number 2 years. K's numbers at Duke are staggering and well worth the praise,

UNC has 7 Mc donalds AA this year. How is that working out for them? That is the most over used line going. It really doesnt mean much.

OK, so now because "some people" say things they all are?
I already know your story. From NY, had to live in C-Lotte, surrounded by them, etc.
I for 1, last yr said there was no way they even go undefeated, gave the games they could lose and when the 1st one would be. So, Please, don't even try putting me there.
And the Haters were even worst last yr.
How many f*cking people took whatever team wa playing NC last yr. It was a joke.
I don't bet against the Pukies UNLESS...
They are on road/nuetral court or in the tourney.
I even made a 10 Unit play on them this yr vs. ASU. As I said last yr, I know what it takes to beat them more than most of their fans know what they are good at. Yes, Ville would be a hard match up for them but I think they will only have to play Cal. I don't think Tex AM has the overall team to do it, but I think they will be playing Baylor and, they have the pieces to beat them.
Stay in the same area of#'s on boards Hit your 3's and make FT's when you can drive to the whole and get there.
If they don't, and I get to watch the Metro'neers D them up and manhandle them, even better. Butler would serve Singlers a$$ to him. Pull him away from the boards, Smith can out rebound that bum from S.Jersey Zoubek.
Thats my opinion.
As for Alex-
Lets see your dumbass write something logical about basketball that isn't a Puke stat.
39 posts- All about Puke or sh*t about NC. Great addition to the forum.

I didnt say you said they would go unbeaten and i dont have a problem with you. However thats they way unc fans mostly are and it was good to see them suck this year with 15,000 empty seats in the game. Raleigh not charlotte by the way. Im telling you i found more than 1 who thought they could beat some nba teams. Fucking absurd

I'm glad i'm not the only one who thinks that Duke is extremely overrated. It's not just their road vs home record it's the way the officials cater to them on their home court. Not only do they shoot better at home, but if you watch them when they play at home the refs let them be as physical as they want, and ref the other teams like a regular game. It's kinda funny because this huge homecourt advantage has really hurt them in the tournament over the last 5 or 6 years, where they get exposed for the lack of talent they put on the floor against other top teams. I used to cheer for Duke in the late 80's and early 90's when they truly had top notch talent, and won games on their own merit, instead of running their record up with their homecourt advantage. Maybe if they got another coach there the refs wouldn't fear the Dukies so much on their home floor and they could learn to play the game like a normal Top 25 team. This would make them have to play more consistantly throughout the year, then they might have the intensity needed to win on the road. It's easy to be a Top team if your given half of the games you play a year, which is exactly what has been going on down at Cameron.

If LOUISVILLE actually cares about a game, and can play with some fire and passion (like they did vs Syracuse,,twice) they can play with almost any team in the country.....but them actually showing up,,seeems not to happen much.....u want bad losses (charlotte , western carolina, @ st johns by 20, @ marquette by 20, cincy in the Big East tourny)
I think Louisville could "get up" for DUKE give em a run, could even beat em!!! but i dont trust louiville to beat CAL.

Just remember that early 2000's talent all left early for the NBA, so they never really got a chance to develop. Also, i keep hearing about the McDonalds All Americans they get, my question is this: How come all the AA talent that goes to Duke never show up at the NBA level, when the other AA's go to other schools and wind up being players in the NBA?

Once again, the most over used line in college bball. Mc D AA mean nothing. Ask North Carolina. They have 7 this year.

Also name 1 player from Duke in the Coach K regime who was a all star at the next level. If Coach K is such a god why don't his AA's produce that way, hate to say it not only is Duke overrated, so is Coach K. Pitino, Roy Williams, Calipari, etc. these guys really know how to coahc and get theuir players prepared for the next level. Like I said before, Duke's homecourt advantage has really skewed what's going on in that program. Coach K should have hung them up when he got sick a few years ago, it seems like his teams have really went downhill from that time.

That 2001 natl title team with boozer, dunleavy, jwilliams, battier never got a chance to develop? What the fuck are you talking about? Even in 2002 that were very very good just didnt win. How much more developing than a natl title do you need?

Wait till next year when they have experience under their belt not only will they play like AA's, they'll go to the next level and produce. Unlike Scheyer, Singler, Thomas and the rest of these overprotected Dukies who need the benefit of refs calls at home to pad their record. You can say what you want, but do the research and you'll see that when they don't play at home or a partisan neutral floor, they are very average. If not where are the Final 4's and national championships?

agree with you 100% on that one but that makes a great case as to what a great coach coach K is. duke has never really had anyone do extremely well in the NBA. hill, boozer are having nice careers and look at this years team does anyone honestly think scheyer, smith, or singler will ever do anything in the nba. If you look at duke team this year really closely one thing really stands out(think about it) Duke is overated but coach K is an excellent coach his starting five is not the most athletic team but they do play as a team and maximize their athletic ability.

When Carlos Boozer and Shane Battier is all you have to show for the talent they supposedly have, I think it proves the point that there is problem with Duke's ability to develoop talent. Don't forget that was 10 years ago, what's happened since then?

I'm not a Duke hater, Laettner was my favorite player in that era. I just am sick of watching them win at home with biased officiating and playing like a .500 team on the road.
