I do not watch most of the games I play, for many reasons. Occasionally I will check ESPN for the scores. When I do, it seems my team is always losing.
I dont read much into as there are huge swings in games (Pitt last night) but I never check and see my team ahead by 12.
Not bitching by any means as often teams with early leads lose anyways...... but every once in a while it'd be nice to glance have a false sense of security for a little while. Anyone else?

Not to change the subject, but did you notice that live TV is not live TV.. Its like 7-10 seconds behind.. I notice that when i'm sitting in a box at a Rockies or Bronco game... You watch it live and can look up at the TV to see it again
I also notice that my books are seeing it live, I wonder how they get the live feed, Its some Galaxy 5 satilite backhaul signal or something- I used to have a C band dish too

The sad reality of sports betting is you spend tons of times, looking at scores, reading, researching all to HOPE to break-even. I know folks will come in and say I am up so and so. Anyone reading this, lets say you started betting 7 years ago. Over the 7 years you have not made money. That goes for the guy 2 years in or 20 years in. We may go on streaks but we all fight to break-even over time. I know a little off topic but thought I would add to your team always being behind.
If you are reading this and new to betting. I will do you a huge favor. Find a new hobby.

Thats why I can't stand guys heaping tons of praise on other guys here- I booked bets for 25 years...Nobody is over 60% and 99% are well below that...and anybody can go 50/50 picking with a blindfold on- So there's really no discernable difference between us
Its entertainment and anybody who thinks they are ever gonna make a living doing this needs to get that right out of thier f-in heads now... I bet inconsequential amounts of money to watch games when I have absolutely nothing else to do.. Like right now

Well I stream, so its even worse. So much so, I cannot live bet. A teams on the 1 yard about to score but the line for them to score is +700....then comes the pick 6 the other way.

LMAO, Gemster...I thought it was only me, and I started wondering - and checking - sites like fox sports and sports line (good results there usually). It's so easy to just type 'espn' and the scores are right there...but now I can't do it anymore lol.
When I go to ESPN during the evening, maybe halfway through (I don't play 1st Hs) or late 2nd H...I'm already cringing before I even click the "Div 1" link and start scrolling down the page...man it sucks!!!!!
Thanks for posting this...BOL for success

Seems that way---sometimes Ill have a game +5 points or so and see Im up 10 and decided not to look at score for a long while, too much up and down torment you end up stressing 7 times when by just waiting for final score you can just be pissed once, or glad about a win

I’ve been sports betting for 19 years. I just really started to hit my stride. I recently made 10k in about two weeks. Not bragging it’s just I’ve learn to not listen to what to see or read on covers, also the sports commentators are pushing you to bet the wrong way. Going against the public is usually the best spot to be in. Also I watch the games and get a feel for what they players attitude is on the court or field. In play betting will save your life. GL though.
