I can only say I’m very tempted to play Rider over Monmouth for a guaranteed share of the MAAC crown but that line is -2 Rider and I just went through that bullshi* last night playing a short road favorite. So no post.

I have no play today.

Good thing you didn't give in to temptation.
Any opinion on St. Peters tonight?

St Peters and Quinnipiac are both awful this year so I’d tread lightly.
But St Peters bombed them by 26 last time they met and this was despite Quinnipiac getting all the calls shooting 25 FT’s to St Peter’s 11. That screams of St Peters exploiting a man hot deficiency in Quinnipiac’s backcourt.
Gun to my head I’ll take St Peters but I’m not really interested.
What I am interested in is Monmouth. They are gearing up for a big tournament run here (which is ironic since the previous two years their win totals were two of the best ever and they missed the finals both times).
But last night they bludgeoned Rider the best team in the conference in a game that wasn’t as close as the double digit final score margin of victory.
Now at full health in what was a lost season they may be able to make some major noise. If I’m Rider I absolutely do not want to see Monmouth in the tournament.
Hopefully we’ll get some good lines in Monmouth tourney games.

Thanks for the additional insight Scal. That's partially why I like St Peter's (the previous blowout). They're a bad match up for Quinnipiac, just like Monmouth is a bad match up for Rider. I'm not a believer in the senior night angle. We'll have to wait and see what happens tonight.
