okay so using data from past 2nd week NCAA tournament games on Friday. These favorites are 5-17 ATS.

The plays are :

Purdue

Michigan

At this point I am uncertain about these teams.  I kinda think both lose so Ineed to look deeper at these.  I also like Kentucky but they have their questions also. 

One problem with this query is the lines <-4 the favorite wins 11-4 SU so its basically counting on the spread.  I prefer a dog with more of a chance to advance.  I need the dog to get a lead and the favorite to threaten the spread early.  Houston plays strong D so that could be a problem for Purdue.

This could well be like Drake on Thursday..  heavy as a dog and they won SU..   Calipari is a great coach and the Big 12 can very well get wiped out this round.. maybe aside from Houston..

Duke seems like the best team but Betonline has the biggest blowout game odds.  

I selected Florida vs. Maryland  it’s 5-1 

probably obvious because Maryland hit a break with the no travel call I just feel like they are the weakest link.

This is the best week of college hoops and a lot of dog opportunities in my opinion.  

Certainly the big teams show up but it’s the other games make for opportunities 

Arky is live.  Drake is 2nd tier because of history and no big name dynamic coaching.  

I respect the heck out of Drake and McNeese stare because of their strong ATS history

Teaser do have value herebut I cant convince myself to bet 2 games to win one unit and pay juice.

Friday thoughts. 

There are 7 SEC teams remaining.  Some of these are going bye bye before Saturday 

The favorites are :

BAMA  

FLA

AUBURN 

TENN

I want to see what happens to Florida and Bama before I make Friday plays but I envision one or more of these SEC favorites wont advance.

I already have BYU @ +184 and now its +194

at approximately the same 7pm tip off I dont see Florida losing but that could be a shocker.  I can always bet in game as it wont be a blowout so opportunity will be available as the game plays.

As far as the rest of the SEC favorites those will be Friday and Tenn could be a weak link.

If 2 SEC favorites lose I dont feel it would be a one seed. 

Thursday I like 3 dogs but not Maryland 

Friday I like Kentucky, and pondering Purdue and Michigan.  I likely will bet Purdue as last years experience and + so many points will help them get it covered.
