I fkn hate totals. They ruin everything.

Capping sides is difficult enough. A total really has to jump off the page at me to get me to bite.

Chatt last 10 games avg 138pts

Furman last 10 games avg 149pts.......so 143.5 between them

Last 2 games between them were 122 and 140, avg 131

yearly avg 140 and 147......so 143.5 between them.

They play better defense against each other, and they are clearly the best 2 teams in the conference.

Furman likes to chuck it from 3, but Chatt defends the 3 better than any other team in the SoCon, as well as has the best overall scoring D in the SoCon.

The total looks low, and is begging you to go over, until you dig a little.

Personally, I think the only way Furman wins this game is if they get stupid hot from 3 point land, and I think Chatt is good enough on D to prevent that from happening. They have already beaten Furman twice this season, and though they were both close games, its not as if one team did something much better or worse in either. One game they both shot like shit from 3, one game they both shot pretty well.

Gun to my head, I think Chatt covers and it goes under.
