SU winners: 10 OT record: 1-0 Record on the open: 13-11
Notes: -Iona
was playing really well before playing three really bad minutes to end
the 1H. They also dared a poor 3pt shooter to shoot all night and it
worked well early until La Salle went on a bit of a run and he hit three
straight to extend the lead too far. The new big for Iona could make
them very scary. -Irvine took it to USC from the start and mixed in
some zone along with just hitting open shots. Damon Starring is unreal
and Adam Folker is a crafty ole vet you just know has tricks up his
sleeve. Now 3-1 on them this year -Speaking of USC losing at home to
Irvine, they can't score and having Dedmon & Oraby out there makes
it 3 vs. 5 on offense. USC can't make threes when J.T. Terrell is
benched for not playing defense so I want to fade them until they switch
up rotations. Kevin O'Neill demands defense, but he needs to get some
O, fast
Guesses: USF 10.5 UMD 15 BAY 7.5 STAN 4.5 MTSU 5 WYO 13
leans:
on the radar: BYU +7
Locked in: Stanford -1 (-110) @ Northwestern -Preseason,
yes I did predict NW would make their first tournament. That was before
JerShon Cobb was suspended and obviously before the news that their
best player Drew Crawford would be out for the season. Already won a dog
SU in Evanston when Maryland stupidly got 5.5, but this is an odd trip
considering Stanford went east to NC State and lost before this game and
then heads home. Travel isn't something I enjoy, but I do like Stanford
getting Aaron Bright back from injury. Bright is a little guy, but NW
isn't tall nor athletic in the backcourt and Bright seems healthy
despite not starting in Raleigh because he played 36 minutes. The
Wildcats don't have any stretch bigs (aka 3pt shooters at the 4 or 5
position) and I expect Powell to have his way inside after doing so
against a much better Wolfpack frontline. Too much for the Tree (besides
the travel) for this to be less than a possession.

Been following your picks for a long time. I enjoy your write ups. Most of the clowns on this site are squares and think they are good. They post their picks with no reasoning. Its sad. I highly respect your opinion. Great call in Irvine last night. I was able to get Stanford at -2 and jumped on.
GL bro.

Had UCI last night as well.......betting against the Trojans has been a profitable venture so far this year.
Great to see you as always and go Trees! I am going to try and ride USC opponents as long as I can this year because I expect it to be profitable once they start playing teams with equal skill.
Irvine is just one of those experienced teams with talent that can beat anyone, may play them to win the Big West

Preciate the kudos, but I honestly like to have people disagree because it helps me see things I miss or focus on different things to give me better ideas going forward. You may win a bet one night, but I truly believe watching a game with that radar on will lead you to other winners down the road
For Saturday...

Providence -1.5 (-110) @ Boston College
-No HCA to speak of on Chestnut Hill and PC is finally getting healthy. I can't see Council playing in this one, but the team played well all year for what they had (no depth) and now they have it. Sidiki Johnson adds bulk on the interior to team with Kadeem Batts and Kris Dunn had a boatload of assists in his debut. I expect Dunn to be more of a scorer, while he takes a ton of pressure off the guys around him and that will make a team who will play zone and man that much better.

this stanford team is some garbage.. we will be lucky if we get this win..thye keep allowing northwestern to come back..they started out the game hot and gave up a 17-0 run or something like that. unreal..then they regrouped and have a decent lead and allow northwestern to go on a run every time
