Meaningless 3-pt at the buzzer: 2
OT screwjobs: 2
Losses by 1 or 1/2: 6
Chase record (trying to stop): 0-1
Yesterday: 1-0-1 -Third straight day with a collapse, this time Mississippi State +7 when they were up 8 with 8 minutes left and down 3 with the ball with :30 left. An absolute joke, but NMSU was a fortunate win as they make some really dumb dumb dumb dumb, dumbbbbbbb mistakes. Should have just owned Boise inside and it took then 35 minutes to realize it.

if i looked at it there's the numbers. Hoping for mistakes on Xavier/USC
whats your input on the byu-new mexico? you think they are set for a let down after the big sdst win?
Definitely.
Jimmer is very tough to stop, but The Pit is hell for visitors and BYU only has three guys that can score against that defense. Don't want to lay points with UNM, but they're way better than I expected. Probably see them at 2.5 or 3, but if it's above a possession I think I'm in.
USC-UA thoughts: USC has a big man who can score on literally everyone and I don't think UA has
the ability to stop him. Then i
look at UA trying to score and they have a great player in Derrick Williams, but
USC has a great defender to matchup with him and he's not much of a scorer so he
can focus all his energy on defense. I like Kevin O'Neill as a coach and I think this line is gonna
be about 5-6 and that is probably short of what it'll come out. I don't know if I can trust the other guys on
USC's team to win it SU, but if I can get at least 6 I think the road team has a
good chance of winning. It'll
probably come 7 to 8 I think i play it then. If it's something like 11 or 12 i play it at open cuz it's way
off. If it comes 7-8 like i expect i
wait and if it
hits 6 and looks like it'll go to 5.5 i think i play it
there.

What do you think about Vandy at home? Arkansas terrible on the road!
Agree.
Alabama should destroy LSU.? Agree.
Do you think Cuse gets there shit together?
-Not sure. It's a huge game for Marquette and they don't have a good team to play against a zone because they don't shoot perimeter shots well and they don't have the bigs for offensive rebounds. They're gonna have to play fast.
Got to like PITT too huh?
Sure, but the RAC is a tough place to play. They should be able to limit Dane Miler, though.
Any thoughts?

that is a concern, along with the bigs of Nebraska matching up with a small TAMU team. Loubeau at 6'8" just doesn't compare to the trees and they're not deep nor experienced on the interior. They play great defense, but I probably am laying off that one

ahhhh i see trying to steal a cheap underdog win for a team with only a 1 in front of their name, i see you
You may just want to piss me off as a UT alum with those two, but I lean that way on both. I guess I'm hoping for UT to roll Mizzou and TAMU to lose ugly to Nebraska so I can hit TAMU in Reed Arena where we always get waxed

So you went to Texas, live in Rhode Island and have a San Diego St player as your emoticon. You really have all parts of the U.S. covered. Anyways, in regards to the two games mentioned by TRoe, I do have a feeling you guys will cover against Missouri, but the scary thing about that is you all are bound to have an off game at some point here. No one can keep playing like you guys have the last few weeks.
In regards to the TAMU-Nebraska game, I really have no idea what to think. They didn't have a midweek game, so they all week to work on problem areas without having to focus on anyone during the week. the same cannot be said for the Huskers. Further, Turgeon has been disappointed with how the Ags have been playing lately and thus I expect to see maximum effort in Lincoln and no lookahead to Texas. But, it is hard not to remember what A&M did last time they were on the road. I likely will just lay-off this one.

Grew up in RI, went to UT and now live in Massachusetts, but I'm coming back to the Lone Star state as soon as I can.
I hope we blow Mizzou out because we owe them from a loss two years ago when we completely gave the game away and DeMarre "The Predator" Carroll hit a clutch shot to win the game and my under cashed. That game I made the rule not to play an under if I was attending the game, which I've broken at least another time.
As for the Ags time off, I'm not sure if that will help a team like TAMU who isn't extremely banged up and sorta struggles to score. I think their main issue is the size of Nebraska on the interior, something they should struggle with all year, but I think the look-ahead is serious on their/your side because in reality Texas A&M exists with the sole purpose of beating Texas.
I hope to god they lose tomorrow and Texas steamrolls Mizzou because that may even give us TAMU as a dog and a must-play situation for me. It probably is anyways, but as a dog I'm sold

I still don't think UConn is very good, but neither is Louisville and the HCA will make the difference. I thought UConn should have been a bigger favorite, but I don't know if I can lay points with them against good teams. UL is not one of those teams that I consider good, as they love the jumpshots which shouldn't fall on the road like they do at home. Kemba is an amazing player to watch and I think he'll have a good day, but the press could wear on a short bench in the backcourt. I think Pitino is much better at in-game stuff than Calhoun, but I'd play the Huskies if I had to

You're on the wrong side of the Ole Miss/TN game. Don't let the line fool you. This is a perfect matchup for Ole Miss tomorrow.
I'll ignore the "obvious homer post" warning that went off in my head if you'll tell me why. I'd really love to hear it.
Chris Warren is a major talent, but Melvin Goins can slow him down because Warren won't be a ton faster than everyone in this game like he usually is. Zach Graham is talented, but Hopson/Tatum should be able to guard him and if they fail I think we could see Tobias Harris, too.
If I'm missing someone please let me know, of course Gaskins is good, but I don't think he can take over the game against a solid Tennessee defense. Please elaborate
