All discussions are fine on the thread, in my opinion.  There are a lot of ways to help people out, not only by posting $$$$'s.  If you don't like to read the discussions, then it is pretty easy to scan over the page to find a $$$$ post.  At least, it should be, as the $$$$ posts are supposed to stand out.  Thanks.

Michigan +9 LFYT $$$$

So I expected this to be a 12 point line. LeVert out. Diamond Stone back. Stone coming off a suspension and MD coming off a really bad loss.

The first time around Michigan contained Trimble. He's struggling (7 for 38) and I see Walton Jr. dominating him on D like he did in the first game. Stone dominated the first game down low, but I see Coach B making some adjustments and going to the 1-3-1 D early in the game to disrupt the ball handlers. As with all Michigan games(this year)  is that they need to hit their 3s. And if they hit 80 and that's a big IF they win out right. But let's stick with the points.

looking away from basketball today to horses
race 4 aquaduct horse 7 Woodfords tea maiden special weight

hasnt raced 3 year old filly, why its a $$$$ play It is trained by Pletcher and has the best rider on aquaduct picks up this mount 
Irad Ortiz owned by three diamond farms. 

currently at 6/1 this horse can fly by the field. 
sure to drop by race time but this is best money play on the Big A today. 
lastest work out it breezed on feb 7th going 5f in 102 jan 5f in 101 4 f 48 the horse is untested but dont see it losing under irads ride today.

5-5-1 yesterday so tread lightly!

Going out on a limb here with the Terps-9. For several reasons as square as they maybe.

1.Terps have revenge on the mind at home vs Mich from last away meeting where Terps took a beat down from Michigan without one of their top guns Levert. Terps took them lightly and got waxed.

2. I think having  D-Stone back gives them a huge boost.

3. Losing to Minny in prime time last game was embarrassing which will give them more focus and motivation.

4. Cant afford to lose another Big Ten game especially on home court like they did vs Wiscy,

5. Line seems way to high at -9 and rising in some shops. They were a -2.5 pt fav at Mich and now they are a 9 + fav as bad as they have been playing. Seems like Mich +9 to 9.5 is a no Brainer when you first look at it given they fact the Wolverines made turtle soup with Terps  back in January.

Terps-9 making this a $$$$ Play as I have a Nickel on it myself.

Early Lean for me is Boston U +7.   Anyone thoughts? I'm trying to figure out why they are getting so many points.  They need this win to be tied first in the conference.

Cool part of this Thread is that people explain their reasoning for their bets. Huge Help!!  I can look at the picks then go look at the matchups to see if I agree. Saves a schload of time!!  

I was in a bar last night and missed that last few minutes of the ND game. They seemed to be sailing along and then apparently something went awry at the end!  Not a good day for Toledo at EMU either.  I tailed on the IPFW bet which saved that day!! Luckily, I didn't bet on Rockets/Irish.

So the rules have changed? You can now post 6 plays? I don't think so.

Anyway, the $$$$ play today is Cal -9.5. The finally broke the horrid streak of road conference losses. They are a veteran squad that is very talented. They are streaking playing their best ball of the season and are trying to seal their guaranteed tournament bid. The only way this doesn't cover is if they come in lethargic mentally which will not happen because of the totalities of their situation. If you don't like the 9.5 then parlay their ML with the plays that you like and at least have a no juice Sunday. Good luck.

@DJC Boston +7 is the best play in college today.  Not a $$$$ but a solid play.  

@Stu Michigan +9 doesn't seem appealing at all.  No real angle here with the Terps at home and coming off that upset.  Terps should cover 9 even with their poor shooting.  

Ok as for the Hoosiers yesterday they just didn't close it out.  I will take a push any day of the week over a loss but that game should have stayed in double digits.  Too relaxed at the end like they had it in the bag. Overall had a great day yesterday with UNC Wilmington ML, Golden State ML, and thanks to this thread Idaho State -1.5.

Not sure I see a $$$$ out there in the Pac-12 for me today.  I am a little stunned at how far the USC line is dropping, but, honestly, it kinda makes sense.  Utah is playing much better than USC at this point and I don't have a lot of faith that we win this one.  I think Utah might get us here, but I am not going to bet the game and just cheer for my guys.  GL all......

Middle Tennessee State (6PM ET CBS Sports Network) – With all the games yesterday it leaves us a small board on Sunday but one game sticks out and we will head to Conference USA as we look to make it a winning weekend when the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders take on the UAB Blazers at the Murphy Athletic Center in Murfeesboro.  Conference USA doesn’t get the mainstream publicity that it did years ago due to the lack of big names in this league which has allowed UAB to fly under the radar to put together a fantastic season as they come into this game with an overall record of 21-5 and 11-2 in league play.  The Blazers weren’t able to score a quality non-conference win but a relatively easy non-conference slate and the fact they are a cut above most of the other teams in the league has allowed them to pad their record nicely and eclipse the 20 win plateau with plenty of room to spare.  Middle Tennessee State might have a less impressive record but the Blue Raiders are still a very solid 18-7 and have more impressive wins, beating the likes of Toledo, Auburn and Belmont.  Middle Tennessee State is just a game behind UAB with a 10-3 conference record and they come into this game with a chance to pull into a tie for first place and a big in season revenge angle backing them here.  These two teams met in Birmingham way back in early January and MTSU controlled the game for 30+ minutes, taking a 42-30 lead into the half and simply falling apart in the final minutes to get saddled with a 78-67 loss in a game where the final score was totally unrepresentative of how competitive the game was.  Middle Tennessee State has two losses since then, both on the road to Marshall and Louisiana Tech, the other two upper echelon squads in this conference.  Middle Tennessee State has won four of their last five games and their only loss in Murfeesboro this season is a non-conference loss to a very good Virginia Commonwealth team.  Middle Tennessee State has a great duo in Giddy Potts and Reggie Upshaw that can take over this game on both ends of the floor and we like them to be the difference in this game for the Blue Raiders today.  UAB had their four game winning streak snapped last time out and while many like this spot for the Blazers to bounce back, we see a Blazers team at the end of a long grueling road swing that just got knocked down a peg by Louisiana Tech last time out and are ripe for the taking here.  Middle Tennessee State is peaking at the right time, has been lights out at home and if they can open a big lead like they did the first time these two teams met this time they won’t look back, rolling to a win and cover on their home floor tonight.

As I type I see this at -2 at a number of major books.  What I would recommend is either buying the hook to get to -2 or waiting until closer to tip as I think most books will follow suit with the public money coming in on UAB.  

@Holmey - you can grade this at whatever the widely available number is but I think everyone can get -2 at -120 odds at worse right now

I like USC at home. These two teams are closely matched. I think the home court and rebounding will get the cover for USC
