Middle Tennessee State (6PM ET CBS Sports Network) – With all the games yesterday it leaves us a small board on Sunday but one game sticks out and we will head to Conference USA as we look to make it a winning weekend when the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders take on the UAB Blazers at the Murphy Athletic Center in Murfeesboro. Conference USA doesn’t get the mainstream publicity that it did years ago due to the lack of big names in this league which has allowed UAB to fly under the radar to put together a fantastic season as they come into this game with an overall record of 21-5 and 11-2 in league play. The Blazers weren’t able to score a quality non-conference win but a relatively easy non-conference slate and the fact they are a cut above most of the other teams in the league has allowed them to pad their record nicely and eclipse the 20 win plateau with plenty of room to spare. Middle Tennessee State might have a less impressive record but the Blue Raiders are still a very solid 18-7 and have more impressive wins, beating the likes of Toledo, Auburn and Belmont. Middle Tennessee State is just a game behind UAB with a 10-3 conference record and they come into this game with a chance to pull into a tie for first place and a big in season revenge angle backing them here. These two teams met in Birmingham way back in early January and MTSU controlled the game for 30+ minutes, taking a 42-30 lead into the half and simply falling apart in the final minutes to get saddled with a 78-67 loss in a game where the final score was totally unrepresentative of how competitive the game was. Middle Tennessee State has two losses since then, both on the road to Marshall and Louisiana Tech, the other two upper echelon squads in this conference. Middle Tennessee State has won four of their last five games and their only loss in Murfeesboro this season is a non-conference loss to a very good Virginia Commonwealth team. Middle Tennessee State has a great duo in Giddy Potts and Reggie Upshaw that can take over this game on both ends of the floor and we like them to be the difference in this game for the Blue Raiders today. UAB had their four game winning streak snapped last time out and while many like this spot for the Blazers to bounce back, we see a Blazers team at the end of a long grueling road swing that just got knocked down a peg by Louisiana Tech last time out and are ripe for the taking here. Middle Tennessee State is peaking at the right time, has been lights out at home and if they can open a big lead like they did the first time these two teams met this time they won’t look back, rolling to a win and cover on their home floor tonight.
$$$$ Middle Tennessee State -2
As I type I see this at -2 at a number of major books. What I would recommend is either buying the hook to get to -2 or waiting until closer to tip as I think most books will follow suit with the public money coming in on UAB.
@Holmey - you can grade this at whatever the widely available number is but I think everyone can get -2 at -120 odds at worse right now
Good luck today everyone!
I am only seeing -2.5 across the board, but if you got it at -2 without buying the hook, that is how we hope people post their lines. We are trying to trust everyone to not post a 'hook-bought' number and when the post is made here, whatever the across the board line is. If you got it at -2 without buying the hook, then that's what I will track it at. Thanks.

Not sure the Spurs care about FA Cup right now. They have bigger fish to fry. Unless you KNOW who is going all-in for these FA Cup matches, its hard to take any side.
I think Spurs and City both made their intentions clear today about what was important to them. Meanwhile Arsenal has a fun replay with Hull City to deal with!!

Going out on a limb here with the Terps-9. For several reasons as square as they maybe.
1.Terps have revenge on the mind at home vs Mich from last away meeting where Terps took a beat down from Michigan without one of their top guns Levert. Terps took them lightly and got waxed.
2. I think having D-Stone back gives them a huge boost.
3. Losing to Minny in prime time last game was embarrassing which will give them more focus and motivation.
4. Cant afford to lose another Big Ten game especially on home court like they did vs Wiscy,
5. Line seems way to high at -9 and rising in some shops. They were a -2.5 pt fav at Mich and now they are a 9 + fav as bad as they have been playing. Seems like Mich +9 to 9.5 is a no Brainer when you first look at it given they fact the Wolverines made turtle soup with Terps back in January.
Terps-9 making this a $$$$ Play as I have a Nickel on it myself
I appreciate the post...you just don't seem that confident for a $$$$ play, starting with the line, "Im going out on a limb".
I might have to take the other side. GL

Yeah, how stupid huh? When City tied this game at 1-1, I was just begging "No replay....No replay.....No replay....." VERY glad to get out of this comp. We didn't need this one at all.

HOUSTON DOMINATED TEMPLE AT THEIR PLACE LAST MONTH WINNING BY 27, SO YOU WOULD THINK THE COUGARS WOULD BE A PRETTY DECENT FAVORITE PLAYING AT HOME, WHERE THEY HAVE ONLY LOST TWICE THIS YEAR. OH...AND COUGS HAVE WON 3 STRAIGHT TOO!
I WAS EXPECTING THE LINE TO BE 5-7, INSTEAD IT'S 3....THIS IS A GIFT FROM THE GAMBLING GODS!
I THINK HOUSTON WINS EASY!!!!
$$$$ PLAY
HOUSTON -3

I never like so called "gifts" and will be on Temple. When things look too easy, too many times they don't turn out that way.
Regardless BOL on the play

It dipped down to -2 briefly at Betus and I was lucky enough to catch it at this number. Buying the hook is a personal preference....just think for -120 to get a key number like -2 as opposed to -2.5 it's worth it. That being said I have no problem with this being played/graded at -2.5. What I see here is a ton of energy out of MTSU against a UAB team playing it's third road game in 10 days. First matchup between these two teams MTSU was rolling before a 2h collapse and I just don't think UAB has it in them to grind out a comeback today if they find themselves down double digits again. We should win comfortably here and the number you get shouldn't be an issue.
GL all let's cash some more tickets today!

Hello all & kudos to USC for starting this form, as I had stated yesterday. NCAA Hoops are not my best pics, rather NHL & FUTBOL being areas in which I possess a bit more knowledge.
Wth no further ado, my play for today comes from PORTUGAL LIGA, in a match between Sporting Club Braga & Vitoria de Guimaraes.
BREAKDOWN: SC Braga sits only 1 seed ahead of Vitoria, #4 & #5 respectively, however, Braga leads Vitoria by 10 points points in the Standings. That said, SC Braga has been a scoring machine in their last 3 home games, compiling 10 goals in that time & netting 26 goals in 10 Home games this year, while only allowing g 6 against. They have the #2 Home DEFENSE & #2 Home OFFENSE in the League.
On the other side of the ball, Vitoria comes in with the #13 DEFENSE (out of 18 teams), but the #6 OFFENSE, having scored AT LEAST 1 GOAL in their last 8 AWAY matches.
So from a statistical pointnof view, with SC Braga averaging 2.6 Goals per game at HOME & Vitoria having the ability to put at least 1 in the back of the net, I'm going to place my first $$$$ pick, with the hope of helping out the forum. I see a 3-1 game here with SC Braga getting the victory by 2 & Over 2.5 Goals
$$$$ SC Braga OVER 2.5 or Asian Handicap OVER 2.5,3 (if preferred)
*Also can consider SC Braga -1 ...
BOL to ALL

Playing USC -2. Temple +4', Middle Tenn -3, UCF +8'
My fifth play of the day is my bigger play
$$$$ Play Wichita State -11'
Since the lost to Northern Iowa, this team has won by 30 and 31 points, granted it was New Mexico St (112 KP) and Missouri St (230 KP) and now they go on the road to play Indiana St (160 KP) The Shockers are the top conference team in the MVC on both offense and defense. Indiana St falls in the middle of the pack in both, but don't see them scoring against the top defense in the league, Indiana St has lost 5 of their last 6. One of them to Bradley! The 336th ranked team in KP ratings. The thing I like most about this game though is the ATS record of Wichita St. When they win, they cover. They are 12- 3 ATS in the MVC. 7-0 last seven at Indiana St. They win by 15 plus today
