Analysis to follow
Several things going on in this game... one Hunter Catoor is a gametime decision (concussion) if he doesn't play, huge deal for VA tech.. 2) Virginia tech has not been good offensively on the road and Lynn kidd isn't a dominating big that can expose UVA down low. 3) virginia tech is not a good defensive team and I feel like UVA can get some rhythm offensively at home against their rival. Need Beekman to really facilitate this game and McNeely needs to knock down 3s to give this offense enough. If Catoor doesnt play Virginia will really be able to just key in on Pedulla..and if he does without practicing in a week I still like the Hoos chances of going to 8-0 at home and hopefully getting us a cover along the way.
Ncaab record: 10-0

Great call on BYU tonight. Was on that myself although I’m not sure I would have if I knew Knell was gonna be out. Iowa state is a great defensive team but doesn’t have any go-to scoring options. Lipsey is a good facilitator but can’t shoot. Big win for the cougars. Great season so far!

buffer here's the explanation from Wikipedia
Official University of Virginia sports documents explain that Washington and Lee baseball fans first called University of Virginia players "a bunch of rowdy Wahoos," and used the "Wahoowa" yell as a form of derision during the in-state baseball rivalry in the 1890s, presumably after hearing them yell or sing "wa-hoo-wa." The term "Wahoos" spread around the University and was commonly in use by the 1940s. "'Hoos" emerged as an equally commonly accepted nickname on the university Grounds (campus) and in student publications. Although the terms “Cavaliers,” “Wahoos” and “‘Hoos” are used almost interchangeably to refer to University teams and players, “Cavaliers” is more often used by the media, while “Wahoos” and “‘Hoos” are frequently used by Virginia students and fans.

Got a beautiful double hit with our mighty hokies +10.5 ... even with catoor.. hokies struggled mightily all night.. 15 turnovers... 38 percent from the field.. the emergence of minor was something I was hoping for and got it today.. virginia got up double digits first half and put it on cruise control
