I haven't watched the fight more than once yet, so I'm reserving judgement on who was right or wrong. But I myself love when guys throw down and wish it wasn't an automatic suspension. I loved the way the Xavier kids spoke at the post game presser.
I realize I'm wrong on this so save the bullshit on "we can't have this in sports." LOL I realize that. I still love it. And I liked the fact the players didn't back down and apologize afterwards.
Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin certainly indicated he is going to take strong action. In his postgame news conference, Cronin said, "I have never been this embarrassed in my entire career. "It's a complete embarrassment,'' Cronin said. "Toughness is doing the right thing. You take your ass-whipping and go home. If my players don't act the right way, they will never play another game at Cincinnati.'' Cronin led the Bearcats to the NCAA tournament for the first time in his five seasons last March and received a three-year contract extension in April. Cronin said that he and the school president will watch the tape and determine which players "remain on the team.'' Kudos To Cronin. I am 29 years old and wish I could go back to being a college athlete.
I would much rather spend a couple hours a day reading some books and playing sports than living the life as an adult with professional job
