Same line as yesterday’s winner: IONA -5.
I believe we’ll get the same result.
St. Peter’s is hot: Two wins in two tough (very) games over Monmouth and Rider. And mind you, Monmouth, if they could hold a 13 point lead with 6:59 left, was a very tough out.
Rider? A dream season crushed.
But the team with the championship resume and two time defending champs is Iona with the MAAC tournament genius is Tim Cluess. The guy with rosters overturning year after year after year is ALWAYS at or near the MAAC finals (3 championships in 5 years).
St Pete’s? A hot team in a very poor season.
Iona will put that to bed here and should on it’s way to the finals (where I hope we get Fairfield for a good line).
Again, this is dream bracket with the Titans falling (Niagara now gone as well). for a weaker Iona team and they took advantage last year and will this year.
So let’s ride them again at -5 as they push for field of 64 for the third year in a row!
