Is Grand Canyon located close to Spokane?

I noticed a huge home crowd the other night in Spokane when Grand Canyon beat St Marys and was wondering how close is this university to Spokane. 

it's in Phoenix.  Easy way to check is on ESPN

Pretty sure they are in Arizona somewhere near the GRAND CANYON but could be wrong 

So no, not next to Spokane.  But a cult like religious following 

Saint Mary’s also Gonzaga’s rival who’s in Spokane.  And they told their fans to root against Saint Mary’s.  So was a de facto home game for Grand Canyon.

No GCU just has a crazy fan base they call the Havocs. The school is small but their fans are nuts and create a European soccer like atmosphere for all of their home games. Now that they are in the tourney, they are going nuts.

They have 20K on campus students and 90K online students and its also a religious school so a lot of bible thumping fanatics in their fan base

 When you get a ticket for the tournament. It’s a DAY PASS. 

so you pay and you get to stay the whole day

as the night goes on and people drink. A lot of the people get rowdy. You see a lot of underdogs starting to cover. Because everyone is rooting for them in the arena.
