Just how big do you think fixing games in college are?

Had some good conversation with my bookie, and we got off on our tangents, but I want to get some insight from my covers brothas!

I think Coach Calipari is the swaggiest smoothest guy in coaching history. Straight up mob boss, how can you not think this guy isn't the heart and soul of a tampering and influencing players, families, and other coaches around the league! 

Now I had a great night in ball, so don't think I am angered and assume I took UNC and am here to blame the guy who missed the 2 free throws and cost the cover! Cause I was on Wisc baby! Appreciate you time and thoughts guys! Cheers and good luck with the rest of the tournament and future endeavors!

All it requires is for Calipari to slip a suitcase of $10,000 per player on the other team. Add $100,000 for the coach. Now how much does he make a year? Last I heard it's close to $8 million.

im sure it happens but I think it is pretty rare.  covers thinks it happens 10-15 time a night

Man you kids, most of you were probably not even born yet but there was a time back in 1994 when John Chaney threatened Calipari. He literally said, "I'll kill you!!!!!"

Calipari didn't do sh!t. Mob boss?

Why would someone making $8 million a year risk his high paying job fixing games? And these KIDS are all supposed to keep their mouths shut about him giving them a suitcase with $10k in it? You guys are crazy.

I definately think that those MLB spring training games are fixed or altered for sure!

no way a game like unc/wis is fixed

why wait to the last seconds??

would make no sense if your fixing...

some games are/were but they are late reg season games with little intrest and smaller schools

anyway, not u or anybody here would know or even suspect anything

Yes everyone has seen the news of the three instances you mentioned. There are thousands of games played every year. And for about 75% of those games, there is some idiot in here calling FIX. so excuse me for generalizing. Does it happen. Ofcourse. There's always a few bad eggs in the thousands of people that have to be involved. And if john caliperi were to do somthing like this. Which he wouldn't, he wouldn't do it on the most watched game of the basketball season now would he. Wake up

You are calling me crazy, but YOU are betting on games that YOU think are fixed. YOU are living in a country that YOU believe is poisoning you. I'm going to leave it at that. Good luck on your plays. Hope your on the right side of the fixes.

I think we all know what goes on behind closed doors. We all know its a business. What does businesses do? Make money! Yes, some games are controlled, some are played normal, some are just dirty as you know what. We wager on games to make money. We are trying to take their money. They want our money. Their the business were the customer. I have a child who plays on a college team, so yes I hear stories. I knew a guy that played college football, yes he told me its no longer a game, its business. Even average fan is starting to see what is going on. So to all the people that think this is all clean entertainment, you are blind!

You knew a guy that played college football. Wow, I retract all my previous statements. I didn't know we had an insider among us. When he said it was a business he meant the teams and schools are making money. Vegas wins no matter what team wins. It's called juice.

No you know what i mean. Yes he played top school so I not going to argue. We all know what goes on in sports world. No I am not claiming to be an insider. Going by what he said. If I was an insider I would not be here.

I just talked to my boy that plays on a university. He informed me half the team wagers on games. So you are not going to tell me what happens from start to finish. Thats all I am saying. Play on

I have seen alot of games, where the refs are really hard on certain teams, but the Nit for instance has been officiated very well.
Then every now and then you run into some bad officiating.
