I'm fairly new to betting, and just started checking this forum about a week ago. Really starting to seem like picking dogs is the way to go. Is that a strategy people use?

you post a play and then say the team you selected has "no chance"???  i know you've done well and i hope you continue success but never stop pulling for your team especially if other people are tailing you.  hope you get the rest of them today

Damn, Teased them down to a a pick em and had the ML in a few 2 teamers. Learned an obvious lesson: You can never bank on a team especially in a rivalry game.

You've never made a wager and realized at halftime that you're team isn't going to win that day?  I've done it plenty of times.

THere in lies the problem of a FORUM and followers... I do too, just like you said and would admit it too the forum as a post or conversation. But, when you end up with people who blindly follow they EXPECT him to always post winner and complain when he doesn't...

Of course, I think everything is a conspircy, so i figure he works for the books and it is all a big setup... But what do I know.. :)

Hopefully there's better things to come today. I lost only 100 bucks from it but It still just ate about 25% of my BR. 

Road favorites by more than 5 in a rivalry game. What was I thinking?

yeah i joined to read the sports news, but never looked at the forums till this year.  Plus after I joined in 2006 I've haven't looked at the sight for quite a few years after.  It's rare that i do put all my eggs in one basket, so this was a big reminder.  yes sir!

I unloaded 10 units onto VCU ... ouch!

My fault. Lesson learned, too.

I know that I'll win that money back, eventually, but the sting hurts right now.

Not complaining at all ... I'm just sharing my painful lesson for the benefit of others.

Everyone's with your rules. Were taking full responsibility for putting too many units on VCU. I didn't just blindly tail. Majority of my money was put into VCU ML or teasing the down to -1. 

It was just one of those games where the 3's were going in for ODU and VCU playing an all around sloppy game. 

Good work on the Mass and Omaha picks!

VCU obviously a huge disappointment.  Still 4-1 with 5 unit plays though.  Need UMASS to pull through to limit the bleeding.
