First Ill say that Virginia should have destroyed wake forest, florida state, and Virginia tech at home but they didn't....they are not consistent down the stretch
I agree with your numbers assessment....logically if it were to play out perfectly you may be right...but this Virginia team down the stretch faltered big time and lacked a ton of offensive consistency. Anderson was a nonfactor in last two games in acc tourney he came back for but must have not been 100%...he should be back to normal we would think for this game so that will give them a boost. I just don't see them doing enough offensively to win this game by 20+ they are gonna have to hold Belmont under 50 to do that. Not to mention they are on a special run to end the year taking out Murray state in the finale while winning 7 straight...I trust them to put up numbers in the high 50's or low 60's so if Virginia hangs 80 on them then I will tip my cap but watching both teams I don't see this result. GL to you though
Virginia has held their opponents to 50 or fewer pts in 15 of their 32 games.
They have given up 60+ pts only 7 times. Twice to UNC, Maryland, Duke, Miami, Davidson, and Wake Forest.
60+ pts is a tall order vs. the UVa defense.
