I really don't know anything about these teams although I thought I heard Missouri was supposed to be good this year. I really don't know how to handicap this game, I looked at both team's schedules and statistics because I haven't seen either team play and I still don't know a play. I'd like to hear what people have to say about this game, I'm leaning towards the over 147 1/2 and Missouri -11 1/2 but I'll take any info I can get. Thanks.

Big mizzou fan here... This game is a total tossup. It's their first game coming off the news of Michael Porter JR being done for the year (#1 recruit in the country). They've played the whole year without him, but they've looked awful the last 2 games. They're a young, inexperienced team on the road again and they were flat out terrible their only other game away from home.
They're either going to come out motivated and come together now that the cloudiness of Porter's status is finally decided, or the news of losing their best player for the yearand likely only hope to make the tournament is going to crush them.

Hmmm, that key player that you mentioned was out makes me think Long Beach is going to be in this game. What to make of them beating Iowa State by 15 in their first game?

That post about first half over scares me and I can't tell why. I'm on the game over, but something tells me to take Missouri too because they come out on fire in this game. Therefore, I am also playing these two games:

Long Beach State +11.5 for me... Missouri has been an incredibly poor traveling team for quite awhile as they have lost 30 something straight road games. Realize Long Beach State was clobbered by West Virginia, but MU doesn't pressure the ball like WVU.

Poor start so far..... they're not scoring points. I wish they'd put their foot down on the gas a little. I did not cap this game as either team being great at defensible.

Sometimes I hate gambling because I'm never impressed by the games and I get no enjoyment out of needing everything to go my way instead of just enjoying the game. Like, Missouri is doing well right now, but they're not scoring enough points.
If I had to make a pick on Tennessee vs. Villanova I'd probably go Villanova -8 1/2 and the over, over bigger, I think these teams score, but then if they don't, I don't like the game.
Does anyone else feel this way? Do you feel like the quality of play is not really that great? Or am I just mad I am losing bets?

This is what I don't understand. You agree that it's better to just watch the game with no wager at stake because you don't know anything about the teams. Somehow, minutes later, you end up with not just one wager but THREE wagers on this game.
Also, you're getting crushed by juice. 30 plays a day at (-110) is three losses before the outcomes are even decided.
You seem like a nice guy who loves basketball but this approach looks like a recipe for disaster...

Well, you are right. I can't even enjoy this Missouri game because they aren't scoring enough points to get the over for the game. However, 2 out of my 3 bets look good? I will take it a little easier on the picks probably, not playing totals and teams together.
