I think this game is going to quite a battle and I think both teams will really want to play their best games. I just feel like their will be a lot of offense in this game, and I can't really explain why, but I like the over 141.5. I think this game will just see two teams matching baskets, making a lot of threes, etc., and the total will go over, albeit late probably, but over. As for my prediction on which team will win, that is a little tougher to predict. If the game is offensive as I predict, you would think Louisville will have a better chance. But if Kentucky can match up with them offensively, I think Kentucky might win. One way to bet on this game, is who you think the better coach is. Will Rick Pitino out coach Calipari again, or will Calipari and his talented roster have an advantage at home? Just looking at Kentucky's last game, a beat down by Ohio State, that is pretty awful. They showed no game whatsoever. I'll be surprised to see offense improve that much in one week to be that much better. But, and it's a big but, if they take all their so-called "blue chip" potential, they could find a way to stay in the game. I think on Christmas, they will probably be out battling very hard. I'm holding off on picking a side for now, because I want to play a halftime play which I think will be easier after watching the first half.
So far, just Louisville/Kentucky over 141.5.

Cal has clearly outcoached Pitino since he has been at UK,but my gut says LVille.

I thought this game was today. Also, I guess you are right I should have checked my stats on that. Anyone else think talent level of UK is nowhere near where it has been last few years?

Kentucky doesn't have a go-to scorer like last year in Karl Towns nor the experience. Louisville is as good KY this year and went head to head with Sparty...and probably should've beat them. Pitino will have them ready but winning in Rupp might be too tall of a task. I suspect Louisville in early foul trouble especially missing one of their Centers

Ok I follow these teams extensively living in Louisville, KY. UK has a much deeper and better roster with 4 McDonalds AA and Jamal Murray(look up his team Canada performance) and Skal(projected #2 pick in NBA). UL is led by two 5th year senior transfers in Damion Lee and Trey Lewis and no McDonalds AA. Last 8 games in the series UK leads 7-1 with lone loss coming at YUM center when UK 2013 NIT team lost by 3 to the UL team that won the title. Very heated rivalry and most likely Pitinos last game at Rupp as he is expected to resign at end of season once the NCAA hooker scandal is finalized. UL stats are strong for the season and absolutely blowing people out, although no top 130 wins. Cats struggled mightily to get into any offensive flow against UCLA/Ohio State. Against Duke they scored at will and dominated. Key to game is inside presence. UK must establish Skal and own the paint as they do in this series or they will be in trouble. UK guards struggle to shoot well and could be the downfall to this team. All the stats suggest UL and prediction says UL 75-68 but John Calipari has lost 1 non-conference home game in 7 years at UK so the task will be tough.

That is a tough stat if you are a Louisville fan. However, those streaks end, and it's usually when they play a tough team. I have a feeling Kentucky is going to have one of their good games today and may win. But I'm worried about the 2nd half, letting Louisville back in the game. I still sort of like the over in this game, and I'm starting to lean Kentucky on the side. It's time for the new guys on Kentucky to step up, I think it happens today.
