Love UNLV -2.5 over Colorado

Question

This is UNLV most favorable matchups in the tourney since our sweet sixteen run in 2007.  I watch Colorado play the last month and not impressed.  The Buffaloes play into UNLV&#x27;s style of ball and I see a bunch of turnovers by Colorado.  UNLV loves the uptempo flow with defensive ball pressure to upstart our offense.  I know UNLV&#x27;s weaknesses, but I don&#x27;t think Colorado has the players to exploit it.  The Rebels seem to focus better on "Big" Games when we were playing lights out in non-conference.  Our conference games seem to almost lull us into a sleepy stupor as we faltered in the 2nd half of most of our conference games.  I&#x27;m homer, yes, but I&#x27;m a gambling realist as well. I predict a Rebel victory of 74-65.  GO REBELS!

Carlon Brown will be the key.  When he scores, Colorado does not lose very often.  Something like 17-4 when he goes for 15&#x2B;.  UNLV has long bodies, but CU has discipline and coaching advantage in a major way here.  Will be an interesting game.  Lots of better places to invest on Thursday.  SEC, Big East are incredibly overrated.  Mid Majors will do well this year, especially the senior laden teams who have discipline.

My bad, I took a glance and i was looking 1st half UNLV -2.5.  I almost like the 1st half bet better than -4 for the game.  Rebels been a 1st Half team for most of the season.  But, yes, Carlon Brown is key and we have a athletic rotation of players to slow him down.  I believe he is the only major threat on the Buff&#x27;s offense and it seems everything flows thru him.  We shut their best player down and the rest of the team seem to flounder.  Rebels are deep in the bench w/ great rotational man to man defense.  I still expect a 8-9 point victory for UNLV.

Colorado isn&#x27;t hot,  Pac 12 is just abysmal and Zona choked that game away.UNLV should run the buffaloes out of the building.

Tough matchup. They&#x27;re playing at UNM&#x27;s home court where the Rebs lost 65-45 a month ago. Really depends if UNLV goes up big early and is tired 2H.

I&#x27;ve been paying attention.  They are obviously much better at T&amp;M but they are not "BYU abysmal" on the road.  They are just slightly worse.

The MWC was 11-3 against the Pac 12 this year. This is one of the biggest mismatches of the first round. I watched a lot of both of these teams this year. Colorado does not match up well with UNLV. UNLV will paste Colorado.

yes they are... you must not have seen them blow 2nd half 17 and 18 pt leads to tcu and csu? they havent won on the road since Jan barely squeaking by air force by 2 in overtime.

&#xD;&#xA;To be fair, this is more of a home game for the Rebels than the Buffs. UNLV is used to playing in The Pit and a nice contingent from LV should be there.

UNLV is way overrated, not the same team from December and January.

They are a 1 man team with Moser. Marshall is the only other guy I would depend on the others are shaky

Masamba can't make FT's

Stanback and Bellfield are selfish and throws up to many bricks

I would like to see them win but there are better games to bet on

Not a lot of heart on this unlv team. Stanbeck has disappeared completely, a once highly thought of pro prospect will now be working the door at spearmint rhino shaking down horny business dudes for 5 spots. I had high hopes but i&#x27;ve seen this team show little to no heart the last month. Me thinks the head coach is far too soft on these cupcakes. Fading unlv huge this tourney.

Rebels outside of their comfort zone=auto fade. Rookie head coach in first ncaa tourney = auto fade. Root for them but don&#x27;t be dumb and bet with your heart. This unlv team has the talent but not the heart.

That being said if unlv makes it past this colorado team i actually like their style of play to match up vs. baylor. Theyll finally have a team that doesnt play defense and will run with them.
