Mathematical Total Play

Just got home from a short trip to Tunica. I have an 8 step mathematical formula to produce a projected total. 

I've used this in the past but I decided to dust it off tonight and give it a shot. It can get very hot at times. 

There is one total tonight that stands out from the rest. 

Delaware Over 138 (-110) Draftkings  ($550 to win $500)

My formula projects this total tonight to be (145.76) or (146pts) rounded off. 

I'll take the 8pts of difference and see what happens.

I did, (+$1500) but I'm sure my wife and mother n law dropped that much at least. Got to keep their comps up there. 

Anxious to see this one tonight. I've used this formula in the past but it's a very tedious process with the amount of CBB games some day. 

My mathematical total tonight is (146)

The books posted total is (138)

I use a base of 5pts minimum difference to even consider it as a play. Tonight this one has an 8pt difference. Most games are very close to the books total. 

This Formula is much more current but it does use a couple season long stats. The rest are current statistics.

The Blue Hens have been hot lately  ML is worth a sprinkle  

I just couldn't bring myself to play a side tonight. 

I hope the Blue Hens score like crazy. 

I wanted to give this formula a chance at some point this season. I know it's late but there are alot of games still left. 

I tried a formula for baseball totals the last month or so of the season and it was great. I also tried one for the NHL that was pretty bad. I had mixed results in the NBA. 

But I have high hopes for the CBB and MLB formulas. 

I believe a true mathematical total should beat the books perceived manipulated total at a high enough percentage to be really profitable.

I jumped on o137.5 @ +115 … I like that spot despite slow start 

FWIW, at the half the total at Draftkings is 140.5, funny I could shoot at a middle if I wanted.

I don't know about that, I do have a background in mathematics but that was years ago. Now I'm just a semi retired guy that enjoys building and working with sports betting models. 

I do have to work about 4hrs Monday,  Tuesday and Wednesday morning. 

This is an eight step formula. I've always felt like some stats people use are worthless, absolutely worthless and others are priceless. My formula cares what these teams did back in November but it cares very little. This is a much more current formula. 

I'm running the games now and have found one that really stands out but most are very close to the posted line, as in (1-3)pts off and I view that as simply static. I like to play what jumps off the sheet. 

I'm betting a nickel tonight on my best one. I'll post it as soon as my bet is in.

Spread it out, all had same line. 

The formula has the true mathematical total at (141.21) rounded down to (141).

I'll go with the 10.5pt difference tonight. Every time I go to Tunica, it puts me in the (one bet at a time format). 

Don't go crazy on any wager I put out. Most of the time a nickel is one unit for me. So I wouldn't load up on anything. 

But my formula thinks the books have this one about 10.5pts too low.
