I like the U139 more than either side. I would assume Mich will try and contain Wolters, which should lead to SDST running set plays and working the ball to try to get him shots and the team probably taking a few bad shots as the clock runs down.

Not very well in a conventional sense. Jordan Dykstra would much rather shoot from the perimeter and clean up the offensive glass by crashing the boards from the wings than play a straight up C/F position. Tony Fiegen is undersized but have a scrappy toughness to him. Chad White only shots from perimeter but plays solid defense. As a whole the front court really took Baylor off their game last year so who knows. I think if they match up Trey Burke with Nate Wolters believe it or not Burke is going to have a problem. Wolters is much taller and has about the same quickness as Burke. Plus Wolters is the best one on one defender for SDSU and tends to get his opponents in foul trouble. He is the best player I have ever seen in managing to angle his body on drives to get and ones and has some of the quickest hands I have ever seen. I still in open court for a lay up or two is nearly a guarantee. We shall see.

The line movement would suggest that to be true. I just don't see it. I think that both teams play more of a half court game and only score uptempo in transition. The Jacks have done what appears to completely change the style of their play in the last month. I always scratched my head why they kept insisting on pound the ball down low instead of letting the guards dictate the game. But I believe that will be their game plan in this game. We will see if it works or not. Nate typically scores his most points in the 2H anyway we will see. BOL!

the mich st fans will be on s.d. st side in this one and you will have more dog love then one would suspect. Everyone keeps talking wolters wolters wolters, but the fact is this team is balanced. They have four double figure scorers and a great inside presence in dykstra. I love this sd st team and beilein always shits the bed bc they are so perimeter oriented in tourney games. I will never forget when he blew a 25 pt lead against ville when he had his best team at wvu

The only thing I have to disagree with you about regarding this post is that Dykstra really does not play much with his back to the rim. He prefers to shoot threes from the elbows, crash the boards from the corners, get offensive put backs. Once in a while he will play in the post but that is much more Tony Fiegen's game than Jordan Dykstra. That being said Jordan is truely the wild card in this game. If he goes off a SU win is a strong possibility. Nater is going to Nate; Fiegen will get his few buckets; White will hit some threes; it really does come down to Jordan. He has the tendency to vanish in big games and I really hope that is not the case tonight.

Please stop spreading misinformation. Wolters average 22.7 points a game. The Jacks average 73.9 points per game. That accounts for 30.7% of the offense and not 47%. Not sure where you got your math from but check again. It should also be noted that the Jacks have four (nearly all have starters) as double digit scorers. They are pretty well balanced with Nate leading the attack.

If you really feel that way then the safest plays for you will either be the Michigan ML or the Michigan team total over 76.5. Either way BOL!
