I saw a no. 1 go down at ND. I saw Duke get obliterated at Ohio St. I saw Ohio St. lose at IN. I saw UNC get beat by UNLV. I saw HAWAII beat Xav. The list of upsets are endless in college hoops. I am not even speaking of favorites winning but not covering which are endless. So I am afraid TX beating MO is possible but I am taking MO. I having been tailing undefeateds like Murray St. and sooner or later, I hope it is later.

Has it crossed anyone's mind that both of these teams are talented and inconsistent and with Texas being at home, maybe this line is right on at around a pick?!?!?!

- Texas plays good D at home and have a strong inside presence, Missouri doesn't start anyone over 6"8ish
- Texas Tech game recently for mizzou
- Everything is bigger in "Texas" so the public outside of mid-west sees it and jumps on it
- Really, both Coaches suck... and the home team is young and the Away team is smaller, so I don't think Vegas could even get a feel for it
- I think it is low... would have guessed mizz -4 -5ish
Here is your bet... first half under 66 and here is why
- Texas: 33.6 pts at home on the year (includes crappy teams), but avgs 28 pts a 1st half last 3 games
- yes mizz. can score but avg 35 last three games and hasn't seen a D like Texas, they also average 5 less (38.5) on the road
- Texas D at home in 1st half has given up an avg of 27.5 pts
- last three games mizz given up 32 and 35 on the road for the year
Those averages might not convince you as much as you like.... But if you have watched Texas all year you know the struggle to score with young guards.... Big stage, so Off will struggle at first. And these teams will come and feel each other out while Texas tries to slow it down at first. Mizz has be sluggish on offense lately and Home Court and Inside presence should slow them down first half... PLUS this is a big conference game in the big 12... this isn't the ACC, it is rough and more defense than Offense especially at first.... Also, texas always gets calls at home and this will allow them to get away with ticky tacky fouls and play physical

Also, the same line was Set for the OSU-MIZZ game.... the over did hit barely in first half... BUT OSU shot completely out of their ass and gave up about 8 easy fastbreak pts off TO's....

Nash for OK ST went off against Mizzouri down the stretch and mizzouri played like dog shit...
Texas is not the same texas from years past...they got so many raw players surrounded by jacovan brown who jocks the ball a lot...
Mizzouri plays team ball and i think on national television they brine their game... guard play is a heavy favor to mizzou... best player on court is on mizzouri
Im not saying its a lock...nothing is..
But my money is on the tigers here 4 UNITS

Tex/ Under IMO. Don't think there's as much separation as is perceived by the rankings. I know Kenpom has Mizz 8 and Tex 20- so it's not like TEX is total garbage. They're a winning team, 8-1 home, play pretty good D, Rebound, etc. And In this type of matchup, the decent home team wins prob 5/10 times or more. One thing the #2 or #4 ranking often means is you get inflated value on the opponent.

Did everyone that bet MIZZOU tonight bet SDSU this past weekend?
Probably because they still have a surplus of cah left ftom the previous two games when SDSU was getting points and the "wise guys" went the other way... Those "wise guys" are still chasing their money were SDSU backers are still ... That being said Texas is a nice play tonight...

SDSU is one of the most overrated teams in the country. Still a lot of hype from last year but this year's team is not even close.
