My Terps v. Clumpson at Comcast

18-8 on Terp plays this season...no I don't play the Terps every time for those wondering.  But I am going to Wednesday and don't have time for a big write-up.

Game tomorrow night comes down to:

1)  Terps were right in the game at Clumpson and that was while in foul trouble, shooting very poorly and turning it over 27 times.  Shit ain't happening again!

2)  Refs won't allow Clemson to tackle the Terps, hand check all night and play like it's a bad Big East game; Terps get at least one of the key Tigers in early foul trouble.

3)  Terps have played very few poor games and in fact did not play all that poorly against a Ga Tech team Saturday that played great!   GT is better than Clumpson and GT played out of their minds to hang in the game.  Terps very tough at home.

4)  Jerai Grant for Clumpson had a huge game against the Terps last time and I'll be surprised to score more than double his season average again.

Terps hardly ever turn the ball over like they did last time against Clumpson.  Some of that had to do with the pressure, much of it had to do with being on the road and frustration.  Won't happen again.  GV will be a tough match-up and is playing for ACC Player of the Year now as t has come down to he and Scheyer...and no one else.  Needs to keep pace to set-up the award clinching match-up at Comcast next Wednesday on Senior Night......fuck that shit is going to be intense!

Love the Terps Wednesday night.  I think the Terps are second to only Dook as far as ability and talent.  Stith is back for Clumpson too and the more I look at his stats, I like him being in the game more than I like him missing....sorta the Greg Paulus thing.  Terps have revenge on their mind and are simply better.  Clumpson shoots like dog shit some games and the Terps are en fuego at home.  Oh...how about that Clumpson FT shooting?  Rebounding can only get you so far you ORANGE and PURPLE tigers.........seriously?  Orange and Purple?

That's it, not talking about it anymore, no opinion on the total.....oh and the disrespect angle thing....Gary loves it.....Terps not ranked this week????  Wow.  Underdog, all for one and one for all, the world hates us, wolfpack style......

a couple things from a tiger fan:

1. if you think clemson is worse with stitt in the lineup, you REALLY don't know them very well.

2. clemson's win against maryland was one of their WORST performance's all year and they did it without their point guard (who is the second most important player on their team, imo).

3. even while the above is true, i DO NOT like clemson in this game b/c of the revenge angle and the fact that clemson has played so well the last 3 games (they are a very inconsistent team).

4. i thought this line was going to be -9 or -10, so the -5 makes me think something else, so it is a no play.  i guess the linesmakes think they are even teams?  i wouldn't have thought that.

I like Stitt and missing him does hurt but I like Andre Young running the point as well...

What in the world makes you think that this line was going to be 9 or 10? The line is right as Clemson should not be a DD dog to Maryland...

I lean Maryland tonight as well but I am hoping that they surprise me and pick up a road W tonight...

What kind of pace you see in this one ACC?  Clemson won't be pushing it, but the Terps most likely will....Any total lean?

Total is very tough because:

1)  The Terps at home are a big over lean (over)

2)  Clemson lies it ugly and has the players to make it ugly (under)

3)  First game was way under (under)

4)  Terps shoot great at home/Clemson shoots poorly on the road (over and under!)

I honestly have no feel for the total as there are just too many coflicting angles here, thus a no play.

As for point #1, if you think OVERALL that Stith makes that big a positive difference then perhaps you don't know your team.  Guy can't shoot and really doesn't dish out that many dimes!  Yes, he can push it and break a defense down some with his penetration but Young is stronger in several areas and hurt us in the first game.  Bring on Stith!

Last game against GT wasnt to bad as the over hit to make it a juice thing ,or -8.00,lol Not sure what to do now without a total.

If the Terps can force uptempo, it goes over easily.  If Clemson shoots better than their 39% (last 5) and 41% on the road, it goes over.

I have just gotten burned a few times this year when the Terps opposition shits the bed and cannot score what they need to get the over.  Terps are going to score 73+ but what about Clemson?
