Yes, I&#x27;m aware Maryland lost at home vs Florida St (62-65) and yes, I&#x27;m aware NC State is coming off a big home win vs Duke (84-76).  However, I believe the better team is Maryland and they&#x27;ll be ready on home court on the heels of back to back losses. IF you think the better team is Maryland, then you have lost your mind. If that's the way you capped this game, I would LOVE to hear your thoughts.

That said, I will be on Maryland for one of bigger plays of the week. As I mentioned in ACC's thread, this game has NOTHNG to do with the two teams on paper. If it played out that way, talent alone would have NCSU an easy win. However, it rarely plays out like that, and this usually puts the Joe Watercooler bettor in the poor house. This play is about the SPOT. Nothing more, nothing less. Great value is to buy low on a decent team in MD and sell high on an inflated State squad. State is coming off a game that they acted as if they hit the lottery. If there is a letdown spot, this is it. All it takes is some gritty play by MD and State could get shell shocked in front of a tough home crowd.

Should be a good one. Just completely disagree that Maryland is the better team and that taking the "short line" at home is the basis for the play.

Picked Maryland to finish 2nd to Duke in the conference.  Polls have them 3rd but I think they edge NC state.Regardless of conference talk, this is the play.

Maryland played the #312 schedule in country. Only top 100 team they beat is Stony Brook at home.

Until the Terps get a consistent starting 5 and play with some sort of consistency, only a fool would bet them.

NCSU is 10x better than Maryland. You are hoping State has a letdown...not something I'd want to put money on

I&#x27;m not going to say that Maryland and the over is the obvious play here because i don&#x27;t want the gambling gods to come get me. But I have trouble seeing why you would be going against so many bad omens playing the nc st. letdown game, line moving against public money. the fact that maryland layed an egg last week. Terps have talent, size, know what to do to win. turgeon makes the team better.
