Duke is number one on the stats sheet I have, they are number one in offense and number 7 in defense.  Butler is number 32 on offense and number 5 on defense. So clearly those two show advantage Duke. There have been some great replays with  Butler against Ohio St and against Xavier at the beginning of the season. What I saw was basically the same thing I have seen throughout the tournament. A team that does not quit. A team that is truly under valued yet shows up to play every single time. We all know that Duke is good, I dont think anyone can make an argument that Duke is not a good team. Recently the only game I can remember them actually cutting it close was against Georgia Tech. ANd this game was an important factor for my decision today. Georgia tech ranks  14th on my list of defense.  Then I go through the entire ACC numbers that DUke played and ran them against Butler,, Butler would have statistically speaking beaten them all based on numbers, Now of course matchups come into play, so that is not a loss proof system to use, But it all boils down to defense, Duke has shown toughness all season as well. And has handled other great teams stats wise, Now I do not not see much value in the Butler ML,, OVERALL stats running my numbers has Duke 8 pts better,, its only when I combine the two against each other that I come to the conclusion,, Then factor in the 3 pts home court ,, lets be honest,, Watching the screen I see seats set up beside the court for Butler students who are already at the game.. And something we cannot forget,, they beat Syracuse, K State, Mich St,, these are by no means any soft teams, for people to say , how can you even think Butler has a chace tonight, is merely someone that may be hoping their guess is right, Duke is better team, I can say that because I ran my numbers, However I can also say that Butler has a good chance to cover the number., I remember seeing people saying there was no way Butler would win that game, that the safest bet in the world would be the Cuse ML??  I hope you learned your lesson,, Nothing is gauranteed, and just because it is the only Basketball game going today does not mean you have to go all in.
