It's gonna be tough for me to be able to get the OK for March Madness this year cause the wife's due date is March 10... I'm just hoping once the baby is out maybe she will come around and want a vacation as well?
Probably dead wrong but a man can dream, can't he?
I'm staying on the East Coast this year for March Madness Need a break from Vegas and some of the others aren't going out this year. I did like our spot last year. Great call by you Still can't believe I found that $200 poker chip on the ground. That was great!

UCLA got back in that game late until the last few minutes where it got away from them. UCLA will be in Michigan's shirt for 40 minutes tonight. Anyhow GL.
Respect your thoughts and opinions 165, but must respectfully disagree here.... I see UCLA being overmatched and outcoached tonight. The team chemistry is imploding and will just get worse if UCLA gets off to a bad start... you'll start seeing drastically reduced ball movement as guys look to "get theirs"

KGC -- we'll agree to meet up in Vegas then next year for the 2012-2013 tourney. I'll even bring the kid so he starts getting an early education on basketball and gambling
Hey, I learned it from my dad, gotta pass along the family vice

I probably lean UNDER given the history between Beilein and Howland... that is a very low number though. 3 of the 4 games between Beilein and Howland have gone UNDER that number for what its worth. With the way UCLA is shooting the ball from the perimeter, and their inability to effectively initiate an offense, I'd lean UNDER if I were to make a plan.

As the announcers said, where is the scoring going to come from UCLA? If Jackson and Lamb didn't hit those 3s in the 2H, it would have been a lot worse and UCLA would have been in the 40s!

Hey Kap,how have you been doing in all sports since the wife put her foot down, lol Sorry couldnt help myself, Just curious if you would of made money in baseball and football, pros and college, nice start in CBB.
I dont see how there is any value in UCLA,Ive bet against them in those games they were giving points and thinking of taking Mich.,after Kansas blew them out by 20 or something close in FH,they are just a bad team, loved that guy telling you yesterday you didnt know your own team.

To date since July 28, 2011 when I stopped actually wagering on my plays in hopes of preventing chasing:
NFL: 32-34-3, -0.98 units NCAAF: 36-32-2, +0.00 unit
NCAAB: 9-5, +5.85 units
Overall: 77-75-5, +4.87 units
Still above water overall, stopped MLB cold turkey on July 28.

Mich hasn't busted out the zone in this tourney as much as they usually do.
LOVING how bad UCLA has been. Makes my day.
I'll give you a little respect for at least making some $ on your team.
I'll eat my shoe if Michigan doesn't play zone for 80% of its possessions today. Beilein isn't stupid, if I know that his zones crush Howland's teams then I guarantee he knows it.
Let's not dance on UCLA's grave here Mr. Arizona... at least UCLA beat the D-2 school it played this year unlike your team.
Gonna try to tell me that I don't know UCLA again in this thread if they somehow cover tonight?

Kap, what do you make of this SD State-Zona game? My initial lean was 7.5 is too many points, but SD State hasn't beaten anyone good (not gonna call USC good at this point). Wildcats got some good young kids, but probably nowhere near where they need to be in Feb. and March.

165 -- yeah I got love for you man and respect your thoughts, but I think you may be thinking of previous UCLA teams and/or Howland coached squads. This one couldn't play in your shirt defense for 20 minutes let alone 40.

I looked at this one in depth cause my old man called me to ask about this game. San Diego State is pretty young but they have a great coach and they play hard. They had an understandable loss at Baylor by 10 points. Other than that they beat LB State (who beat Pitt at Pitt), USC, and crappy teams. My initial thought is "do I really want to go against SD State and have to win by three possessions?" The answer for me right now is no. Arizona lost to a freaking division II school.
A D-2 SCHOOL. UCLA is garbage right now but they destroyed their Division 2 opponent. Seattle-Pacific? You guys got upended by the third best team in the city of Seattle, you should be ashamed of yourselves.
On the flip side, I'm not stupid and I know that Sean Miller can coach, so I don't exactly want to be dismissing his teams outright. He can have them prepared.
If I was going to make a play, I'd probably take San Diego State. I think their win over LB State is much more impressive than anything Arizona beating a Steve Lavin coached St. John's squad. You should beat a Lavin coached team if you have a decent coach, and Miller is better than a decent coach. It's like that Chris Rock bit -- "you're supposed to take care of your kids! what do you want, a cookie?!" I'd feel much better if I could get SD State at 8. No play for me though
