AF shot lights out last night and still only won by 6.... UTEP will run them off the floor but 21.5 is too many points for me to play
certainly ...that is the system. They only took 12 "3" point attempts. The system is about layups vs undisciplined teams...backdoor. I see that UTEP avg almost 10 steals a game...this aggresiveness is what AF preys on. I see UTEP winning in a home game, but AF stays well below 20.
Remember AF was a 12 point dog yesterday, so a 6 point victory is +18 to the spread...stat profiles of UTEP and Niagara are not too far apart.
Trust me, I was ready to fade AF today thinking line would be 10 to 13...was shocked it was this number...value to me.

i know you already concluded a no play on cornell and la salle but just wondering if youve been keen to the line movement... its jumped from a pk to cornell +1.5 with the majority of public on cornell... im thinking i wanna take the points but this has got me a little confused... any thoughts?

I have been watching it. I could very well jump back on LA SALLE...

As far as the Valley goes I'm not seeing anything I like. I do think UNI will be Creighton but this is a no play for me. I'm leaning Illinois State over Whichita St. but this could go either way as well. Indy State has been impressive and SIU hasn't proved anything yet this year. If I was betting on anyone in the Valley today (which I'm not) I'd go with Indy state +7.

Sorry to see you on Creighton. I really like N. Iowa tonight and I will actually be at the game (season ticket holder). N. Iowa won this game last year in Omaha and returns all 5 starters from that team. Any follower of the MVC would tell you they expect N. Iowa to finish ahead of Creighton this year in the standings which should tell you that perception is they are the better team. Now obviously perception does not mean anything. Cre lost their leading scorer and really does not have anyone they can rely on in crunch time, which has shown to anyone watching them this year unfortunately. Creighton does not have a single quality win this year, whereas N. Iowa has proven it can go on the road and win with its win over Iowa St. who I feel is better than people may realize this year.
I am curious if anything other than what you previously mentioned stands out in this game to make it such a big play for you?
GL on the rest of your plays...always enjoy your thoughts

UNC - you coined the phrase "headfake" but that seems like the La Salle game to me. less than 30% on La Salle at PK. goes to Lasalle -1.5 and slowly the money comes in on La Salle to the point that it is now almost 50/50.
What am I missing?

UNC, any thoughts on the 4:30 game, Buffalo laying 5.5 to a 1 win jacksonville team after coming off a big win at wisconsin-green bay? Obviously buff is no powerhouse but that kid pierce is pretty nasty and jax is terrible

UNC, are you still looking at some games? I thought for sure you would have been on URI. Laying only 3.5 against a pooooor Drexel team. URI shoots the lights out and they play in a much better conference.... not to mention they have a deeper bench. Just curious about what you think, I'm strongly leaning this and CRE.

Jax has played a killer schedule and Buffalo has won only 1 of their games by double digits...game being played in Orlando on UCF campus so Jax will have some support...my 2 cents is Jax plus points or no play

UNC--While I am admittedly more lurker than poster, I always enjoy your analysis of games. You are very informative/insightful. Thanks! I'm with you on all games except UNM. I like Tech in that one to win outright. GL to you!
