Fenn what I have learned in past experiences is when a lower ranked home team or a team not ranked is laying points to the higher ranked team specifically in the top 25 you are supposed to go with the home team. They typically win SU 80% of the time and cover the spread 70% of the time. Trust I used to bet against this trend when I first started and lost a fortune. Doesn't matter who the match-ups are what teams are playing your supposed to follow this rule. Most vets on here will back me up on this...
Back in you up on this UNC...without question!

This is the experience rule. Top 25 team getting points is something that should make you realize there is something about the game you dont know. Like UNC said, it doesnt matter who is playing or what you think you know....whoever made the knows waaay more than us....thats a guarantee

UNC....I heard this a long time ago as well but I got confused when I was told it....let me see if I understand this...
So if an lower ranked or unranked team is playing "home" and the higher ranked team is getting say higher spread a few points here or there you have better odds going with the unranked team? is that the same as laying points to the higher rank team?
What do you mean by laying points? Is that what you meant?
....and how does this philosophy work away when a higher ranked team is playing home?
Sorry man for the question just want to make sure I understand it...

UNC, you've forgotten more CBB handicapping then I'll ever know. With that said, I just cannot pull the trigger on CU. I keep looking at the numbers and everything (in my mind) says UCONN should win this game. One of the few rare times I will be against you
Thanks for all you do!!!!!

Anytime a top 25 team is getting points playing at an unranked opponent ALWAYS!!! take the favorite to win. Alot of action will be drawn on uconn even if its just 1 or 2. People will always take the ranked team + whatever. HEY UNC you look at south florida+13 at all? I think this has some value. S.fla isnt too bad of a team, Louisville is ofcourse scrappy but I believe the cards will be looking way ahead to the 2nd of janurary with the big showdown vs innerstate rivals KENTUCKY! BOL

capped these three before you locked em in! lovin that were on the same side! seemed like i made a few bad decisions due to the fact that everyone and their moms are on UAB and UCONN... idk if you'd care to take a look, but I also got a few others locked in...
Heres my full card:
Virginia -2 4u
Ilinois -6 (bought a pt.) 2u
Cinci ML 1u
Maryland -11 1u
Boston College -4 1u
Vanderbilt -16 1u
Also leaning on Duquesne +13.5 but I think I'll stay away... We'll see how I feel in a few hours...
BOL as always!

Wow man....this is crazy....Now I finally understand but lets see what happens tonight....thought you where following the teams before so you had insight etc...
I don't know how cinci or virginia wins but I am on it as well as the ILL game....
Still in shock here....
Is there any other rule I am missing besides a top ranked team playing a lower ranked team or unranked team and the bookies are laying the points on the home team?

Don't know if you capped those games or tailed Goaline. Either way decent looking card for the most part. Couldn't put a penny on Duq. at this point in the season. BOL
