So they lost to a good WVU team. Beat UCF and Buffalo by more than 1. It looks like the trend will continue and they win by at least 1.
see you look at this completely different then me... they lost to a legit team, barely beat 2 bad teams.... cincy has shown they can compete this year and their home court is tough to play on... btw the year they lost to WV in their first road game they were ranked 12... looks like a pretty similar spot

I'm not arguing with your picks here at all, but what I don't follow is the reasoning you've provided. Can you please explain to me how this line of thinking works? Rankings are completely subjective not to mention that they're not a predictor of the future, but at best a reflection of the past.
What UNC is saying is that Cincy doesnt deserve to be laying ANY pts to UCONN, Virg. doesnt DESERVE to be laying to UAB either, so he is taking the NON PUBLIC sides to these games..Which in most cases......WINS!!

Fenn what I have learned in past experiences is when a lower ranked home team or a team not ranked is laying points to the higher ranked team specifically in the top 25 you are supposed to go with the home team. They typically win SU 80% of the time and cover the spread 70% of the time. Trust I used to bet against this trend when I first started and lost a fortune. Doesn't matter who the match-ups are what teams are playing your supposed to follow this rule. Most vets on here will back me up on this...

Well, your record speaks for itself, so no argument here. Thanks for the explaination. GL

I agree about the UAB game, there is a trend to support it.
The first part of the system is to simply wager on any unranked team
that is favored at home over a ranked team. That's all there is to it.
Which was UAB against buttler
The second part of the system, that isn't as widely known, is to wager
against these home teams in their next game if they did cover the point
spread against the ranked team.
Which is UVA here, this has hit at something like a 70% clip the last 4 seasons.

UAB is 2-1 on the road with a loss to Kent State and 2 wins over terrible teams. UAB is a great home team, and I think we'll find out they aren't nearly that good on the road. UVA is getting Scott back and they should be able to keep UAB off the offensive glass more than they are accustomed to. Bennett's style can be frustrating for teams as well. UVA, Cinci, Illini Also playing Davidson and BC. GL UNC

The rules. Post #81 by UNC is right. This will probably be a no play for me. When Scanning the sheet of daily bets, these stick out and I usually make them a No-Play or take a serious look at the Home team. Typically, these type of matchups get played to close, within 3-4 points of the spread. This triggers the F^*cking 12 minute hair pulling session of:
- Make the FT, no miss the FT, FOUL, FOUL, Foul, Shit Turnover. Run the clock out, Don't shoot, PLEASE don't shoot, Yes he missed, NO the put back, Don't foul. Game finally ends and you look for the baseball bat or the gun or grab another beer and thank your lucky stars.
BOL everyone!

Thanks for the trend information, from you, as well as Bracks and UNC. But where do you have proven information that this "system" hits 70% over the last 4 seasons?
Also, I was looking at the E. Kentucky -5 at Chatt. They both played last night and Chatt covered for me. What are ya'lls thoughts on this game tonight?
