i agree with burk, i dont really think this is a letdown spot, you still have a conference usa team going on the road to play an acc team, hard to see them not fired up for the game.  i dont think uab belongs in the top 25 really, but still dont think this is a letdown spot.

i wanted to ask you about a game actually temple is -14.5 at northern illinois who sucks.  total is very low in the game i think 120, anyways seems like a huge lookahead spot for the owls with the game against kansas saturday.  is northern illinois even bettable in any spot though?

Think I saw UNC post something saying "have learned from experience when o/u is 120 or lower always take the under."                   Don't know if this fits here but it sure did in the Pitt. 0/U he played the other night. Good luck whatever you do.

UNC, i have posted in your thread about uconn earlier in the season and was dead on...im going to look into this game a bit more, for some reason right now im leaning CT.  this is the worst ranked # 10 team of all time lol, they are not that good, however both of these teams are alike.  They both do not shoot well from 3 land.  Im still waiting to see what MAJOK can do, he hasnt done much in his 3 or 4 games he has played in....ill post back later, usually all year i have been fading uconn and i think it has worked except against iona (which i didnt bet on).  it is weird uconn, the #10 team in the country, is getting points, but at the same time, vegas would be stupid to think that uconn is actually a worthy #10.

Love Georgia -13 to blast Pepperdine

Any thoughts Arkansas +3.5, I was leaning a moneyline play here as well.

Also leaning BC -4 over South Carolina

I think there's games out there tonight that can definately pad the bank.

                                 Nap, I defeniately agree Cinn. doesn't shoot the 3 very well but there's a misconception as far Conn. not shooting the 3 very well. They just don't take a lot of 3 pt. atps. unlike some of the earlier Conn. teams. They do shoot a respectablel 36.5%, sixth in the league, before the last game, Iona,.Robinson 50%, Walker 40.3%,Dyson, much better lately,35%, and last of all the one guy I feel will be the best on the team before the year is over, fresh. Coombs McDaniel at 33% (made a couple of big ones in the game against Iona.  I've got a feeling Calhoun is seeing this in practice and will try and exploit Cinn. weak perimeter def. tonight. Look for more mins. and 3 pt. shots from the freshman tonight. ( Remember the Xavier game?) they got torched from outside that night, Xavier just couldn't defend and hold the lead. I expect U Conn. to shot well and lock down to put this close game away late. Bol of luck whatever you do.

Doesn't Cincy have a better three point defense percentage than UCONN.  Also, Cincy's numbers are scewed a little as Vaughn has yet to get on track, but anyone who has seen him play knows that he can go nuts on any given night.  I think this is a Cincy or no play IMO.

Thoughts on Baylor?

Ark is not that good and has played nobody while Baylor is a 1 loss team with a win @ Xavier.  Baylor looks to be a solid play at -3.5.

Did you look at the Baylor/Ark game at all?

Baylor is a solid club with good coaching playing a not so good Ark team who has played nobody.  Baylor has a solid victory on the road vs Xavier.

I'm not arguing with your picks here at all, but what I don't follow is the reasoning you've provided.  Can you please explain to me how this line of thinking works?  Rankings are completely subjective not to mention that they're not a predictor of the future, but at best a reflection of the past.

billieman, In response to 3pt. % defense numbers, yes Cinn. is lower in the last 5, 26.2% to 26.3% for Conn. Don't see much of an edge either way except I feel Conn. has the better athletes. Might be wrong but I'm just expecting a big game from the freshman Coombs McDaniels. Good luck and you're better of tailing UNC he's much better at this than me. Just my opinion on the game. BOL
