Everyone have a safe and Happy New Year. I will not be around at all tomorrow as I will be out of town with the wife and getting absolutely smashed. Going to have the card ready in just a bit or tomorrow morning...

Working my way from the end of the card to the start of the day.
Was going to bite on the ZAGS as my first play to post but I dont like that they have ILL on deck and IMO this OU team is actually improving. UTEP had there best shooting performance of the season against OU so I think the final score of that game is inflated. OU on the other hand has a slew of guards doing the scoring and we saw how ugly that got for the ZAGS against DUKE.
Five of OU’s top six scorers, including its top two, are guards. The Sooners’ backcourt has accounted for 718 of the team’s 938 points, or 77 percent. Three guards average double figures in scoring while two more average at least 8.3 points. Willie Warren averages 18.7 points per outing and is followed by Tony Crocker (14.1), Tommy Mason Griffin (10.9), Steven Pledger (8.4) and Cade Davis (8.3). All five of those guards have surpassed the 20-point mark at least once this year (Warren has done it six times, Crocker and Pledger have done it twice each and Davis and Mason-Griffin have done it once each).
Either OU gets rolled or steals this game. Hard to say how they come out with a 10 day layoff. No play for me here...

This is a no play for me to. I know the Zags. This could go either way. But im looking at a Wake forest type game here for them. I think they will win but it will be real close. Bouldin is finally over his headaches. I think he will play alot better now. he had good mins in thier last game. Coach few likes to play alot of his bench, esp at home. Arop is going to be a really good player, and if harris can play up to his potential, they should take this. But we all seen what happens when he loses his cool. All these new guys tend to forget where they are at, at times.Looking to bouldin too much.
