Northern Iowa is only -1?!?!

You have to like these guys chances at only -1!!!

Wichita already has trouble scoring at times as it is, and Northern Iowa can really play some great D.

I don't see this being a blowout but I think NI can find a way to get it done in the end.  I think this line will go up to -2,-2.5 NI by tip.

Any thoughts?

Danny,  Agree with you. Thought the spread would be -5-6.  Still can't get anything up on Covers to do a proper handicapping so not sure yet. Sounds like a play @ -1.

Wichita State needs this game to punch their ticket to the dance. Northern Iowa is already in. The Shockers have played the Panthers close both times this year having even won one of those games.

Hmmm,... I thought the line openned at -3.

IMO,... UNI should get the job done even @ -3, but it will be a 40 minute struggle.

ESPN's saying WIST is in with their 25 wins no matter if they win or lose today.  Still think they'll show up to play since they already lost twice to the Panthers.  That being said I'm on the Panthers large to make a statement for one of those #5 seeds that always seem to get knocked out early.  BOL on the play Shayes and yes the Rams are NIT bound, sorry to say.  BOL on all the plays today.

Yeah both of these guys are getting an at large bid already. No. Iowa had theirs' punched before the MVC conference and Wichita St. got theirs' punched by making it to the MVC tourney finals. No. Iowa is playing solid D lately, however, their O can be very suspect when they aren't hitting the 3 ball. They jack up close to 25 attempts a game from downtown. GL

Danny, I still don't know what the real open is but I heard from a local that it was -3, also.  That Vegas insider is very vague on lines. Anyway, I thought it would be -5 or 6 so I'm pretty vague, too.

I don't know. I handicap off of Covers 1st and go to Kempo if I get serious on a total and then go to the forum.  I do know one thing. I can't pick a N. Iowa game to save my life. One of my hard fast rules is to not knee jerk because of one or two games and just play the #'s.

Lunardi had Wich State out of the tourney this morning so there is no doubt that they are playing for their tourney lives here.  I'm on the under myself.

WSU not getting an at large bid...no chance they get in unless they win today.

UNI started off a little sluggish on offense, but they really picked it up the 2nd H and WS stopped hitting their 3's

it seemed like they held WS to about 11 points 16 mins into the 2nd H!!!!!
