Of course the Cinderella story continues

this team has gotten lucky throughout the whole tourney. Kansas state was up 7 with under 6 mins to go and decided to drain the clock without a good possession or shot.

Memphis was another team that blew it because lack of accountability and egos colliding where a player got a costly flagarant.

Tennessee was up in the first half and then got outplayed in the 2nd half.

the one thing I will give the owls is their terrific rebounding.. but there has been some questionable calls where the owls should of been called for over the back fouls several times on offense. Out of all the games I’ve watched this was the worst officiated game.. rebound was already in favor of owls 42-22 with Kansas state bigs eventually fouling out.

FAU is no fucking Cinderella   Conf USA is a legit Conf and they were the cream of the crop. UAB and N Texas could have surprised some teams here.   

Still a Cinderella to win it all. None of this small schools ever really have

 totally agree on the analysis. k state seemed to have all the same kind of calls go against them. lack of just going after the rebound killed k st. oh and the missed the layups. the first half wide open missed layup was mind boggling. 

it’s a Cinderella team let’s not get out of hand here. No one had this team going to the final 4 pre season or pre tourney.

name me an nba player that has come out of FAU. Not one player. Name me a player on this current roster that you would say would have scouts drooling during the season?

yea that’s clear. This is a Disney team that’s still got their little fairytale going.

 Such a dumb analysis.. some universities dont invest as much as other into sports or teams .. also comparing a basketball program (kstate) that began in 1903 to fau 1993… 

yea my point being this team is still considered a Cinderella team. So I don’t get why anyone is disputing that.

Don't forget about FDU upsetting Purdue, so they didn't have to play against Purdue and their king kong center.  Lucky ass team

I did say that their rebounding was spectacular. At the end ksu shot themselves in the foot settling for bad possessions instead of applying the pressure. By the time they tried to play chess their bigs had fouled out and it was checkmate. But yea props to ksu for continuing their Cinderella run.

People liked the flash and sizzle of Mr. New York......rainmaker.....brick! Turnover....oh one nice pass and two more bricks. All he wanted to do was show out for his city. I told MFers!

 Let's be honest, the only people that had FAU to go this far are the players and coaches family and friends.  Even the FAU alumni didn't think they would go this far.
