Does anyone ever win at parlays anymore? I'm talking like actual spreads, not teasers and greater than 5 teamers.
I mean people are always going to sau it's a sucker bet because like who can predict like 6 games, but people have done it and like everyday from some I hear from They just don't post it.

People are scared to post actual parlays. Yeah there's fishy stuff everyday, but I remember when there were actual honest parlays posted that made us win.

I win parlays almost every day. I play about 7-14 parlay cards a day ranging from 5.00-20.00 and 6-10 teams. Today I had 3 parlay cards lose on Cincy, all 3 were 7 teamers. I had one 8-team parlay 5.5 pt teaser lose on Alabama (had +8.5, lost by 9). My last parlay card was down to Arkansas and UC-Santa Barbara...Luckily I had time to hedge this card so I packaged up several parlays with UC Irvine and Texas A&M...got both while they were still cheap in the first half. Ended up winning 4 of my 5 hedge parlays to pull ahead for the day, after being down half my bankroll.
I do this pretty much every day at my local sportsbook. Some days i will hit 2-3 parlays of 6 teams or more. I will admit many of them are ML, but I have found that 1st half road dogs, that are .500 or better and get 8 or more points hit often, so I'll mix in my favorites. I'll spend 150-200 on parlay cards each day and will hit at least one to break even. I'm a low risk, high reward bettor that is just trying to turn a profit everyday, not kill the books with large single bets...It's my system and it works for me.

So true. If you do the actual math large parlays are for recreational bettors.
FanDuel pays about 47.5-1 for a -110 six team parlay. There are 64 possible outcomes with a six teamer.
Apples to apples;
So a pro bets one team @ -110. 50/50 wins or loses. Gets 90.20 for every 100 bet.
To get that six teamer to 50/50 odds like the pro play above one would bet 32 different combos of the six. Winning payout for $3200 spent at $100 each would be $4750 plus $100 back.
The pro betting that same $3200 @ -110 would win $2886 plus $3200 back. That's $6086 to $4850.
If you back calculate that $4850 win on $3200 wagered (for 50/50 chance) you get a juice of -194 for the parlay at 50/50 when compared to the -110 juice for the straight bet at 50/50.
Another lure, like keno but not as bad is say you hit 5 out of 6 and lose your parlay. Ohhh, just one away! Actually 5 out of 6 is 16.67 to 1 odds and 6 out of 6 is 64-1 odds so not as close as it seems.
But hey, if you like the thrill of big payouts, go for it. Dont expect long term serious bettors to jump in with ya.

@UNIMAN
Which shows also that they do not pay the real odds for the bet, and on a 2 team bet the odds are not the real payout and is not worth the bet imo.
GL on your parley.

Using FanDuel payouts as my example if you back calculate the juice like I did in post #19 you find;
2-teamers are juiced to the equivalent of -121.58
3-teamers are juiced to -135.22
4-teamers are juiced to -151.43
5-teamers are juiced to -170.96
You can see as you go more teams the payouts go further against you.
For me I will play the occasional 2-teamer and once in awhile 3-teamer.

Straight bets are tough alone and parlays can even be harder. There really isn’t an easy way to make money. Just have to do your research, pick our spots and stay disciplined. GL.
