Maybe I'm missing something but we are talking about a team with top 5 talent that is finally healthy...playing the best they have played all season and with arguably the best coach left in the tourney (yes you can argue billy donovan and roy williams too..)... WHY ARE THESE GUYS dogs tomorrow?? I'm about to drop a dime on them straight up Moneyline...and may actually parlay the under too 132... is absurdly high...if i don't do the under for the game i will certainly do the under for the 1st half...any thoughts on this?? I realize Florida has been playing well lately but Louisville is on FIRE!
Would love to hear anything as to why Louisville is not the right call in this one!
-Good luck

Btw also taking 2H Kentucky vs Indiana... U 80...275 TO WIN 250... Anthony Davis played about 5 mins total in the first half...this game will slow down no doubt in the 2nd half...

I think you're right... Florida has been playing well, but Pitino has owned Donovan and was shocked to see Florida even favored. I think oddsmakers are banking on past history. Cards are really rolling at the moment having won Big East tourney and just stomping a very solid Spartans team.

While I appreciate your speculation, my speculation is that Florida is just a better guard play team and will stomp their asses. I want to play a grand moneyline just to even up the shores, this is a close game though. Should lose is not a guarantee, nor is should win, you're overplaying this.

Because L-Ville's offense is down right horrible and they have survived on defense alone just to get to this point. I played 1st h under 61 & full game under 131.5 & here's why I did so:
L-Ville held L11 opp all under their scoring avgerage by 14.5ppg. Those 11 games & amount held under were as follows: 27.6, 16.7, 15.9, 24.2, 16.4, 4.4, 13.4, 16.2, 1.3, 15.4, 8.2. The under went 10-1 during this sick stretch of defense and defense is exactly what has gotten L-Ville to this point (Noy offense). Those numbers are also important because Fla ranks 199th in possessions and we all know how Pitino likes other team to dictate pace. Fla averages 76.1ppg minus 14.5= 61.6 & is favored by 1pt to equate to 122 & change. UL only scored past 50's 4 times during this 11 game stretch as stated already "Their offense is garbage"...
So your telling me I can bet the under on a game coached by Pitino who has let almost every team dictate how the pace will be played & Florida is no speed demon at 199th(tempo/pace/possessions). Yet I also get to bet the under on a game were Louisville has held it's past 11 opponents under their seasonal average by 14.5ppg & combine that with the fact that they have only scored more past the 50's four times during this stretch. Sign me up for sure because if Louisville offense looks anything like it did in these past 11 games I see no reason for coach Billy Donavan to need to push anything...
I play the 1st half under as well just because FT's could most definitely kill it in the remaining minutes...
So the answer to your question of why not to bet Louisville IMO would be their offense is freaking putrid and they can't be trusted....

Florida has a better field goal percentage of 46.3 versus 42.4. Florida also has a higher 3pt% of 38 to 31. Defensively, Florida does a better job on the floor at 42.2% versus 37.7% and stopping the 3pointer at 34.1 versus 30.0. Its a wrap guy....

Rico while you make some good points you also need to consider the competition that Louisville faced vs Florida ... SEC is a cupcake walk ( with the exception of Kentucky and possibly vandy)...so naturally any stats on Florida are inflated...look at the last 10 games bro and the coaching factor ... Edge goes to ville
