Providence vs St John's... what's going on???

Providence was my favorite play of the day at -1 and now it has moved all the way to +1.5 for me... what in the world is going on here???  This just doesn't make sense...

Haha books do not do that I'm sorry...if it seems to good to be true the public is always on it. The public does not fade the to good to be true lines...

They certainly do but the public (the majority)  does not fade the easy line. They bet it. Which is why it's unlikely that they made this line so people would bet st johns. They new damn welll that the public would bet prov. that being said I think the game can go either way but the logic that the trap here is st. John's is ludacris

I hate on betting teams in the Big East, Big 12,ACC etc... during conference play. Homecourt don't mean shit. Once you think you've figured it out, you get screwed.  And you don't know which team is going to show up game to game.  I make a profit betting on smaller conferences like the OVC or Missouri Valley or SunBelt stuff like that.

If you think home court doesn't mean shit you need to review last years big east results...more specifically st. Johns home vs. away in big east play last season

The public bets favorites.  Prov started off as fav and now a dog early in the day. The public will bet the favoite in this game until tip off.  Providence will be favs again by that time.  Prime example of even money.  the books are some smart sum bitches when it comes to making money.

I've been thinking the same thing with Pitt ND.  I mean I know ND has done well against Pitt in the past, but this is a team w/o Abromatis (spelling) and not the same ND.  I feel this game and Providence are low because its the beginning of conference play.  Kenpom has ND winning and has Wisconsin by 13.  I could see all games being close tonight.  

***St. John's has did very very well in conference play last year.

They are not fucking with the lines. There are only 4 CBB games tonight, which will be the fewest games on tap until the season is over. Obviously, the early money went on St Johns  that's why they moved the line quickly. They will get their cut tonight no matter which side covers.

Been to a St. Johns game at Carnasecca Arena against Northeastern. Lost the game by double digets as a 10 point fav. St. Johns sucks, they are not the same team as last year.

This move is the real deal. Books dont move something like Providence -125 ML to Providence +145 ML
