Sure the game takes 40 minutes to play. And I've seen teams come back from double digit down and win games, but that's not the case most of the time. And as gamblers, you are picking teams based on what you think will most likely to happen.
So again, what you all are telling me....... is that when Michigan was winning the game, if the bookie told you that you could switch your bet to Michigan, and on top of that, you'd also have the +6.5, you wouldn't have?
I think you all would have switched that bet knowing that most of the time when a team is playing as well as Michigan was and had the lead, plus on top of that, was getting 6.5 pts, in most cases, the team covers.
Am I wrong?
What your talking about are squares who over-react to any little thing happens in a game.
Guys post after 5 minutes that so-so team will win the game many times here on the site only to be wrong time and again. Happens quite a bit.
And the smarter guys chime in during the game , warning of such foolishness.
This happens quite a bit over the years on the site.
Good, smart bettors know to stay with the team they like from the start and grab live betting at a reduced price. Especially true early in a game, maybe much later in the game a guy needs to admit defeat and try to buy off but not always possible because by then you lay a high price to do such and risk losing twice.
Michigan did not play all that well to start the game, it was Nova who played extremely poor, could not make a shot.
Had Michigan any kind of offense they could have built a 15 pt lead or so, then maybe the game could get out of hand depending on how Nova being the favorite and used to dominating opps re-acted to a huge deficit, but Michigan was not playing well enough to do that.
Nova still could of come back and covered the in game number down 15.
I have seen big favorites panic down big and make loads of mistakes trying to come back but down 7 is child's play for a great shooting team like Nova VS an opp who don't shoot very well themselves.
