 Before they built the Hump, State played in a cracker box gym in the 60s. The noise was so loud from the cowbells you'd come out deaf after a game. The SEC finally had to ban them for a while. Nothing to compare to that noise, maybe a jet taking off. It was that loud. When the opposing team shot a free throw, you couldn't hear jack shiit...nothing but ringing.

Had the Dawgs yesterday; staying away this morning. Too many turnovers and poor foul shooting scared me off. They don't match up that well with Auburn, even though they beat them in Starkpatch. Good luck...I'll be rooting for you. Hey, they beat the Vols, they can beat the Tigs too.

They took them away, Spurrier always complained even said the grass was too long. Then they creeped back in for nonconference games and now they are able to do it for all games. They have since made renovations to the stadium and ear plugs are a must.
