Like I said....Mercer had their upset win...that was lovely....against Tenn it won't happen.
Games are about MATCHUPS....and Mercer does NOT matchup well with Tenn......Tenn's guards are great too....you ever heard of a guy named Jordan McRae?
The difference here is the frontcourt.....Mercer's frontline will be in serious foul trouble and won't be able to stop Stokes or Maymon.
Check out these stats from last year's game, and look at TENN's OFFENSIVE REB count.....and keep in mind MAYMON didn't even play in that game.

I never said all your arguments are great points. Infact, I agree 100% w/ a few of them. But....if you have the thought process of "no way in hell" Tennessee loses or doesn't cover, that's what Vegas wants. I never said the A-Sun was some great conference. I simply said Tennessee has serious plays as displayed by a mediocre record and having to win 2 conference tourney games just to slide into a play-in game. Mercer is legit. That's it. Tennessee has a few great athletes a couple big men that are cool because they wear head bands and scream. Mercer has the goods to win come tourney time...guard play, no fear, the better coach, seniors - and seniors that can play...oh yeah...and a short white boy that can flat out throw down and "break em off something proper" on the dance floor.
Look MRUSER...again, I am NOT saying all your arguments are wrong...and in fact I side w/ you on a couple views. BUT...................................................................................................................
This is EXACTLY what Vegas begs for. People on two sides of a fence...especially when one side sees "no chance in hell" of this or that.
So, to sum up. Vegas wants you or anyone to have the thought you have, because that's what gets the bettors in trouble. TTYL guys. Just please remember this when Mercer either beats Tennessee or hits a bucket at the end to go from an 8-point loss to a 6-point loss.

and don't forget there mediocre record was in a horrible SEC. I know, I know. They've got Florida, Kentucky and now an "upstart" Tennessee. But remember, they finished behind a not so good UGA team. At least a very mediocre team at best like UGA could take advantage and improve as a team and win alotta games in a horrible conference.
...and I'm tellin u guys....Mr. Nwamu is THE best athlete in the tournament. Mercer has three guards that fared well in all the best AAU circuits as Kenny Smith noted...and...I think the most important intangible....

NIGHT POD - GONZAGA +7.5
Zags look great the other day dispatching an okla st. team a good amount of us loved going into the tourney. They got off to a 9-0 start and never looked back. Zona had some problems with weber st. early but eventually settled in and took control and won by 9. I just think the zags match up pretty well with the wildcats and can easily hang til the buzzer with them with a shot for the upset.
