27-4 UL Lafayette lost at home to 4-28 UALR tonight.  They had a shot at an large had they run table to conf final and lost. Not only did they blow that chance but theyre now going to be a 14 seed if they get in instead of a 12.

The spread on this game is 100% over for Marys backers.  Hedge out if you can but that appears impossible with this god awful half.

In season losses mean shit though. LA Lafayette had the league locked up. Monmouth did the same thing last year when we won the MAAC By like 4 games. At the end of the day for the little guys, win the conference tournament since regular season means shit.

Pepperdine has been playing well for a few weeks now.  They gave Gonzaga a scare on the road, and played StMarys tough for 35 mins on road before fading late, and have won 3 straight since and playing well again tonite.

THis is a 50-50 game, Ill be backing them on the 2H line for sure.

Your comment makes no sense though. First of all 15 isnt that much in a college game And at face value Marys should blow this team out. Secondly if Marys loses this game, to a fucking 6-25 team, they do not deserve to make the tournament. Period. So they need to win this game.

Some poor soul somewhere is sitting on this retarded -1700 to close out the weekend and going to wake up to bad news. Pepperdine is gonna win this game and StMarys will spend the week sweating their sac off.  Probably end up in the First Four game which might be better than being a 7-8-9-10 seed and roadkill in the Round of 32.
