This obviously beats losing my behind and I am still doing great for the year but this is still killing me. Would like another big week to just break things open.
Today had the Illinois game in the bag, North Texas was hanging tough for 30 minutes, Iowa had a big lead on ND...even if I lost UCLA I was looking at 7-1. Those three games flip and I finish 5-3. Went from +9.8 units to +4.5 units. Got the big bets for a change.
Called the Belmont dog road win. Hope someone saw this and bet the ML as I suggested.
So today 5-3 for +4.5 units.
Overall 68-41-1 for +30.4 units

Texas - so far so good. This year should get me to 1000 total plays - lets see where I am after that...
As for UCLA - they just hit the jets later than expected. Still, once they start playing real teams, not yet sure how they will fare. It would be nice to fill some seats at Pauley. Tickets are too expensive now and it looks bad on TV.

Well, I guess Davidson and North Carolina are saying dont give us up for dead yet. Charlotte Ill forgive myself on but Michigan State? No way. Keith Appling and crew forced too many drives and shots. All UNC had to do was let them make mistakes. Congrats Roy, sorry I called your demise out too soon.
And yes Im writing this with three minutes left in the UNC game but no way Sparty reverses 20 in 3 minutes....right?

Baylor +5. 2 units. Im shocked that Kentucky is playing out of state. If the Wildcats are down at half, Im sure they will lobby to move it. This will give a hostile crowd the rare chance to rattle the Wildcat youngsters. It worked for MSU. Also, senior Cory Jefferson should go beast mode along with 7-1 Isaiah Austin. Kentucky can still win with its amazing talent but it'll be close. ML upset here.
Santa Barbara +3. 1 unit. Cal is a decent team but UCSB played UCLA tough at Pauley (though that isnt saying much since that place is a mausoleum these days) before the Bruins pulled away very late. Big name programs dont get to UCSB often so the crowd should be insane. Another ML upset potential.

Gonzaga -12.5 2 units. New Mexico State's record is inflated with wins against medoicre teams. Gonzaga meanwhile has turned McCarthey Athletic into a human sacrifice center for opposing teams winning games there by an average of 25 including by 32 on Colorado State. Ooof.
UAB. +1. 1 unit. Talk about zero respect. After beating North Carolina, who just took out #1 MSU, UAB is a dog to 2-6 Northeastern. I looked for news and I want to know...who died on UAB? In all seriousness NE has played some decent teams but after losing to Harvard on the home court, I dont see a rebound here.
UMASS -3. 1 unit. No respect for the home court here. We know now that BYU can score but I stand by my assertion they play no defense. Against good teams who can actually get stops, Iowa State and Wichita, they lost. Same result here.
NC State. -14 1 unit. Worse LB State team I can remember. This should be Gonzaga at home level ugly.
Kansas +1. 1 unit. Just a different level of talent than their last opponent Colorado State, I expect Kansas to overwhelm Dinwiddie and Co. from the get go.
