Thanks
MGM grand,
Here's my writeup on this game on another site. I respect you anf glad to see you're on the same side of this one as I am. GLTU
Today Youngstown State takes on North Dakota State in a tourney at the A.J. Palumbo Center in the Pittsburgh Subregional of the Progressive Legends Classic at Duquesne.
• Tipoff is set for 4:30 p.m EST.
Youngstown State had their first winning season last year (16-15) since 2001 and are 3-0 SU & 2-0 ATS so far this year with wins over Georgia and George Washington on the road and a home win against St. Francis.
North Dakota State comes in 2-1 SU & 0-1 ATS with wins over Mayville 73-40 and Valley City State
93- 47 two NAIA schools. There only Div 1 game was a lost at Indiana 87-61 in Indiana's first home game this year.
I feel that this will be the best Youngstown State team in over a decade and I also feel that we are catching value in this game as a pick-em with Youngstown state playing less than 90 miles away from home in Pittsburgh (almost a home game for them).
Last Time Out
• Youngstown State earned its third straight victory of the season with a 75-60 win over
Saint Francis (Pa.) on Nov. 16.
• Kendrick Perry led five players scoring in double figures with 19 points.
• Blake Allen poured in 18 points, Damian Eargle had 12 and Kamren Belin and Shawn Amiker
each added 11 points.
North Dakota State (17-14, 9-9) last year plays in the Summit League.
NDSU had three players named to the preseason all-league teams. Junior guard Taylor Braun was voted to the first team and junior forward Marshall Bjorklund and sophomore guard Lawrence Alexander landed on the second team. Against Indiana Marshall Bjorklund scored 16 points, and Mike Felt had 11.
Both teams will be playing 3 games in three days in this tournament. Youngstown State has played tougher competition overall this year and has more athletic talent and a deeper bench. I like this spot.
My Play
Youngstown State pick-em over North Dakota State......... 3 * units
as always GLTA
