I don't know why people start these kinds of threads. Someone did the same thing for the dude who needed one more win for the $100,000 2 summers ago. He had the Over in the Boston vs. Orlando game. Came up a bucket short. Just be quiet & see what happens instead of making a thread & a big deal about it.

i dont care what anybody says, this guy is a retard.  if he didn't have the money, he could have borrowed it....what are all his friends broke too? no. this guy obviously thinks a lot of himself and his picks. he really cost himself this time.  sometimes it is best to just stop and think about reality.  im sure he would have pissed it on something eventually, but dang, why play this contest if you don't want to win money?

Cant be to stupid to hit 24 in a row. You dont know his situation and i dont think its fair to assume he is a retard. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say I was shocked to see him pick the line for this game.  I mean the way the tournament is going this year, I don't see how in the world he could've felt confident enough to know this is the one to pick, especially considering he had a week to wait for "the right one" and the way he's been picking the overs, it kind of seems senseless to me to risk 25k on this game.  When I saw his choice earlier in the day, I said to myself, really??  I'm not going to act like I knew they wouldn't cover, because I thought Notre Dame had a great chance to, I was really thinking b4 the game that ND would win but only by 2 or 3. 

That being said, he did better than most of us will ever do and to get one wrong in 21 picks is pretty amazing.  So mad props to you and enjoy that 1k!

I would never sleep if I didn't hedge and I lost...

TWS- the only two times I really had to hedge fairly large wagers (which was only about half of yours) I lost my hedge bet, but I had a total of 7K in my pocket- no stress watching the games and guaranteed cash are a good thing. Good luck in the future dude

All this talk about hedging. Maybe the guy didn't have 10K to hedge. I know I wouldn't hedge. Why should you hedge? Go for it all. If I'm at the point i'm not hedging either.
