Taking Xavier ML. RI is still a good team though just had a bad game against St. Joes. Shot 6-24 from beyond the arc and committed 25 fouls, 13 more than St. Joes did. Lets hope that team shows up tomorrow.

I like Purdue -4.  I dont think NW is that good and Purdue should win this game by DD.  TRoe whats your favs so far.  I need a good 2 team parlay tomorrow to make some good money.

I dont think NW can hang with Purdue, even at home. Dont really like laying 7, but I think Wisc should win by DD.....

Am I really going to take another Big Ten road team (took MSU tonight ML)?  Guess so - Purdue ML as the game will undoubtedly be close, but they have the talent to win. 

Staying away from the RI/Xavier game although I think the play is Xavier or nothing. 

I think the best bet is UNC -15.5 @ Virginia.  This is the bounceback game against a young UVA team and UNC just dominates this game and wins by 20+.  Buy some points, knock it down some and breathe easy during this game.  There is 0 chance UNC comes out flat in this game so also look at UNC first half.

I see Citadel -1.5 handling Furman easily...by 10.

I hate obscure low D-1 conference games but this one jumps out at me.
 
Xavier is better than RI and wins despite good RI team @ home.

OK Here are my picks for Thursday Jan 15th!
 
Purdue will cover the -4
St johns will cover the +12 (I know it sounds funny,but they will just like when they played Notre Dame and beat them at home)
Xavier will cover the -1.5
Arizona St will cover the -1
Washington will cover the -5
Oregon st will cover the +6
Minnesota will cover the +7
North Carolina covers the -15
Portland covers the -7
Boise st covers the +9
 
Goodluck to everyone! As for last nights games i went 7-1..My only one wrong was the Mich st fixed game!
 
Thanks for making me laugh so hard last night Michigan St....Next time though your asked to fix a spread before the game begins,dont let it come down to 1.5 seconds left in the game and be up by 4 on a 5.5 spread..Then have your best player with the most points step up and miss the first free throw on purpose, but then drop the 2nd free throw to make it a 5 point win!...I know how it works boys....You guys get the win...and Penn gets to cover! Everyone on both sides wins! 1 team gets a win, the other gets the winnings on the money put down...A win/win situation!
 
Just next time try and do it a little less obvious! God that was funny!

Thursday WAC Preview
 
Idaho @ NMST -8
boise @ nevada -9
fresno st @ utah st -16
 
At first glance, I like Idao plus 8.  Ex Utah St. assistant and new Idaho head coach has this program going up in a hurry.  He knows the WAC, and they already have a SU road win @ Nevada, and a 9 point loss at Utah St, while NMST lost at home to Nevada and a 10 pt loss to Utah St last weekend.
 
Even though they are tough at home, I have a hard time backing utah st plus this much chalk as they are 1-3 ats as a fav over 12.  If you lose to san jose st at home, I will never bet on you.  No play.
 
Boise plus 9 looks interesting.  Nevada seems to be a jekyl and hide team and have played better on the road of late.  Boise seems to be playing well in a rebuilding year for them.  Early lean on Boise but I need more info.  Anyone have any thoughts?

this will be a boring game to watch for sure.  I faded wazzou twice last week at home and won.  Wazzou and the oregon schools look like they will finish as the bottom four teams in the league this year.  So you have to ask yourself, is the 2nd to 3rd worst team in the conference 6 points better on the road than last years worst team?  I think that the beavers have been getting better throughout the year as they get used to the new system. Lean OreSt.

after losing at OreSt and to UCLA, USC's mindset might be a little shook up.  ASU 5-2 ats in last 7 and 8-4 overall.  Lean ASU but would not be surprised to see USC win.  No play

Two teams going in opposite directions.  Oregon has lost their last four (all conference games) including 2 at home to UCLA and USC. All loses were by 9 or more points.  Oregon is playing alot of guys, but are going to struggle this year.  Wash. lost a heartbreaker in 3 overtimes to Cal last weekend (I had Cal that game and was sweating it).  Wash is tough and brockman boards like a beast.  Oregon gets outrebounded overall and at home, while Wash wins the rebounds overall and on the road.  Lean Wash -6 and Wash ML for a parlay.

What happened to my childhood fav AZ wildcats?  Not the same program and a very strange last few years down there with coach Olsens divorce.  Olsen also replaced all three of his assistant coaches this year before he stepped down.  The beat up on the lowly Oregon schools last week, but lost by 14 @ cal and 16@ stanford the week before.  Dragovic is now starting off the bench and is the only reason to bother to watch UCLA on offense.  I cannot understand why good defensive coaches like Howland and Kruger at UNLV have great defenses, but have no creativity on offense.  Both teams would score more points IMO if they stopped playing boring ass pick n roll basketball.  Run some motion damnit and watch the results!  Lean on ULCA -11
