MISSISSIPPI STATE BULL DOGS ML.

this is a tough one izzos 26 consecutive tourney appearance. Kind of tough to fade him on the first game of the tourney.. but I can’t back this spartan team.

they were quite terrible to start of the year at 4-5 and also end the year losing 4 out of 5.. there is a saying you start off strong and end strong. Neither happened for the Spartans.

they also only had 3 quad 1 wins including a neutral court win against Baylor home win against Indiana state and illinois. They got swept by Purdue wisconsin and northwestern a team that the bulldogs beat.

bulldogs on the other hand ended the season strong and kept it close against auburn in the conference semi final. They beat 2 big ten teams earlier in the season. The SEC is strong this year and sent 8 teams to the tourney 1 in which the bulldogs beat twice which were the Vols!

the confidence level has to be at all time high for the bulldogs going into the first game of the tourney and this should be a good one.

BYU was up big on Iowa state a couple weeks back because of their elite shooting against an elite defense. Long story short Iowa state were able to make the game physical and slow down byus hot shooting

this is a different game and hats off to the dukes for making it all the way here but BYU will be too much for the dukes.
